Question:
Have a 2021 Keystone Passport SL series 239ML that has a dometic ac unit and thermostat. Looking to replace the existing unit and thermostat with Furrion Chill HE, but curious if I’d benefit from installing a soft start while I’m there. Operating current isn’t bad but unsure about startup

Hey Riley, a Softstart like the part # SSR54FR would be a solid option to use with the Furrion Chill HE part # FR25TD.
Or another option that I think makes more sense would be the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR99TD which has a SoftStart basically built into it so that you get the lower amperage draw without needing an additional component. This is also the coldest blowing option out there and is considerably quieter than the Chill HE.
