Where Does the SoftStartRV CM56RR Mount on a Coleman Mach 47204-079 Low Profile Air Conditioner?

Question:
Where does the soft start CM56RR mount on a low profile Coleman Mach ver8 model: 47204-079? from the picture Ive included, it seems that there is a some sort of module mounted beneath the fan, but there are no markings on it. There are also many more wires connecting this box to the rest of the AC components than the demo which installed the soft start module in the 48000 series Coleman Mach A/C. see the attached pic. I appreciate your feedback and guidance on installing the CM56RR in the 47000 series low profile A/C.

Hi Ronald,
The SoftStartRV part # CM56RR mounts inside the rooftop air conditioner after you remove the outer shroud. On the Coleman Mach 47204-079, there isn't one single required mounting location. As long as the module is securely mounted inside the unit and the wiring can be routed cleanly, there are a few suitable mounting spots. One important thing to keep in mind is that the SoftStartRV should never be mounted in the hot air exhaust from the condenser fan, since excessive heat can affect its performance. The instructions marked a few possible mounting locations with red arrows in the photo I attached.
I didn't actually receive the photo you mentioned, so I'm not able to identify the module you're referring to under the fan. If your unit has an additional control module or more wiring than the installation video shows, that's not necessarily unusual. Coleman has made changes to the wiring and control systems on some of the newer Mach 8 models.
I also recommend checking out the installation video our installer Kevin put together. He does a great job of walking through the process and explaining the wiring step by step. Hi Heather, I power with 50 Amp Shore power. I do not see an attached photo or link to same that you said you provided. Is it located elsewhere I should seek/search? I previously watched a video of installation of the CM56RR on the 48000 series AC unit (not low profile) prior to sending my question. The low profile unit, which is the 47000 series does not have the ample space to easily attach the CM56RR module, or to run wiring. Looking forward to continuing this conversation and details. Would you attach or send me the instructions to which you referred above? That may address some of my concerns. Thanks bunches, Ron Roy
