No more losing cool air on hot days. ActiveStart helps you run two AC units in your 50-amp RV, and protects your entire rig from surges. If one circuit fails, the other keeps your second AC going. Plus, an app gives you real-time monitoring.
A soft start device reduces the initial inrush current when an AC compressor kicks on. Instead of that harsh power spike that can trip breakers or overload generators, the soft start gradually ramps up the compressor's motor, making it easier to start an AC unit on limited power sources (like small generators, shore power, or inverters).
Not only will this device reduce your startup power demand by up to 70 percent, it's going to make your AC startup quieter, and reduce wear on the compressor. Plus, you can skip the complicated install and fumbling with wires. Just plug ActiveStart between your RV and the power source, and you're ready to run your air conditioner in less than a minute. It's as simple as brewing coffee. And with the included dogbone and ground-neutral plug, you're able to power up from a 50-amp hookup, a generator, or a household outlet.
Designed for 50-amp RVs, ActiveStart can run multiple air conditioners at the same time. "Redundancy" means there are two independent circuits inside the device. Each one handles one leg of your 50-amp RV power cord. If one circuit ever fails or shuts down, the other keeps working so you don't lose all your power or air conditioning and can stay comfortable. This feature is going to be great for those of you who camp in hot weather or are full-timers!
Built-in surge protection guards your entire RV against voltage spikes of up to 5,250 joules, shielding all connected appliances and electronics from harm while you camp or travel. To get the full benefits of redundancy and surge protection, be sure you're plugged into a 50-amp hookup.
The mobile app makes it easy to check real-time voltage and status for your power system. View and adjust settings right from your phone for added control and peace of mind.

And a quick start guide to make sure that you're running this the way that it has been intended and designed. And let me go ahead and get my tape measure here, give you some overall measurements that might prove helpful for you.
So just a basic length from end to end. We're sitting pretty close to 19 inches long. And then looking at the unit itself at the widest point, we're sitting pretty close to about almost six inches wide. And then just the height of the unit, I'm gonna say right at about almost a foot. And then in regards to the depth or the thickness, I'm gonna say right at about a little under three and a half, just kind of give you an idea of the size. Now, if you decide this is going to be the one that's gonna work best for you based on the specs that we went over with briefly and you decide to pick this up, we would love to hear how it's working out for you.
