Extensive Testing

InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the hitch lock in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. These locks have a shear strength of 42,000 lbs.

Installation

The 3 hitch locks included with this set are interchangeable. Use one lock as a hitch lock to secure your Gen-Y 21K adjustable ball mount to your 3" hitch. A second lock is used to secure your ball mount platform to the ball mount, and the remaining lock is used to secure your pintle hook or other accessory to your ball mount platform.

This lock set also allows you to secure your Gen-Y ball mount and Auto Latch gooseneck coupler lock with the same key. Use one lock to secure the ball mount to your hitch and the other lock to secure the coupler lock to your trailer coupler.
