Question:
Hello. I want to be able to use my rear cargo carrier and my bike rack at the same time. The current split adapters dont seem to allow that due to the clearance. Wondering what my options are. I currently have a Curt 2in cargo carrier and a Swagman 2 bike carrier. Want to use them both. Thanks.

To be able to haul your Saris bike rack and your rear cargo carrier at the same time The Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-304 will get the job done. This carrier has a 7-1/2 inch drop and has a tongue weight up to 1,500 pounds. I recommend checking your vehicle's manual to double check the proper tongue weight capacity for your 2011 Toyota 4Runner. Using these shanks will give you about 6 inches of room to stack on the carrier.
If you need a bigger drop The Replacement Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-305 has a 10 inch drop. To secure the bike rack and the cargo carrier The InfiniteRule Locking Pins # 34061673-D have a heavy-duty, rust-resistant stainless steel construction. All three locks are keyed alike and have a flush design that helps to deter theft.
