Extensive Testing
InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. These locks have a shear strength of 42,000 lbs.
Installation
The short pin included with this set is used as a hitch lock to secure your Andersen Rapid Hitch adjustable ball mount to your hitch. The long pin is used to secure your ball mount platform to the ball mount.

Looks awesome on my new GMC. Only need one hitch for all the trailers. A good bit heavier than needed but it is better to have enough than come up short. Great product, just what you get from etrailer, as usual.
Just installed the locks on the hitch. Fit & finish are flawless! Product felt like a Heavy-Duty grade material that will last.
Will have to wait to see how the product holds up under everyday use and the elements, but they looked, felt and fit like a quality product upon install.
The locking mechanism, dust cap, and key are all superior to the Rapid Hitch stock locks. The Rapid Hitch locks are faster but tend to be more susceptible to corrosion. Even the key design is better on this lock since the Rapid Hitch key is a design where the metal portion is molded into plastic, which can age and fail.
