Question:
Hi, Im looking to add a hitch and anything else necessary onto my 2014 Frontier SL 4x4 to pull a camper trailer we are looking to purchase one soon. DO you have a recommendation? Ive heard of Draw-Tite, but was wondering if you recommend them or another brand? Also, what other accessories would you recommend i purchase? Lighting wiring, maybe an electric brake, and.or anything else? Thank you.

For your 2014 Nissan Frontier, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 75282 is an excellent option for you because it is cost effective, easy to install, and comes with a trailer connector mounting bracket. I have attached an install video and photo for you as well.
In regards to the other components, I strongly recommend options from Tekosnha which is under the same parent company as Draw-Tite. The reason I recommend Tekosnha is because they tend to be the most reliable which if you have ever had to troubleshoot wiring, will appreciate. For your Frontier, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector part # 118266 which is plug and play along with the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 and the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter part # 3050-P which is also plug and play.
For a ball mount, I recommend using an adjustable one as I am sure it is not unreasonable to assume you might get a different trailer or need to tow one for a friend so this way you are not purchasing a ball mount for a specific trailer but rather one that can be used with many. For this, I recommend Rapid Hitch Adjustable, Steel Ball Mount Kit part # AM3461. This mount has optional locking pins # 34061405-D.
Because the Frontier's have a tendency to squat, you may also want to use the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-610-54 to help minimize this.
