Follow all the steps on the paper sent with the hitch. Worked great. Easy set up just takes sometime. Make sure you have a 19mm & 21mm socket. The 21mm socket removes the spare tire to get it out the way.
Installation done without jack, took longer than expected but it was my first time. Hitch looks great!!

I agree with you, David, the hitch looks great! What are you going to use the hitch for?
Only had 1 problem: couldn't get the retaining brackets back completely in place because the bar is in the way.
Fits perfectly! I have a 2018 Pathfinder and this hitch is the perfect fit. Uploaded some pics for reference. I did NOT need to trim any part of my vehicle. Installation on the video appears much easier than real life (assuming you have the tools). The hitch is heavy, especially when you are operating from the ground and cannot put your vehicle on a lift. After some frustration, I took it to pep boys, they installed for $80. Package arrived on time and in great condition. I primarily bought this so I can attach bike rack, but may use it for a trailer in the future.

My item was packaged correctly and item was just what I expected, the hitch assembly was so easy. Was over all very pleased.
Definitely need two people to install, but it took about 30 min for my friend and I to get it installed.
This is the second hitch I have purchased from etrailer, both purchases were shipped in a very timely manner. Even though I have not installed this hitch yet, my experience with the first one was very positive. I would highly recommend etrailer for all your towing needs.
Why would you sell a product that requires you to cut the bumper and remove the spare tire. Then charge me to ship it back. Garbage product and similar customer service

Typically the installation of the hitch is determined by the vehicle the hitch was designed for. We always list the technical details as tech tips if fascia trimming is required. For a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder most of the hitches install the same however there is part # 76031 which does not require as much trimming as the other hitches nor lowering the spare time.
Shipping was fast! Looks exactly as shown on the website and the installation video was spot on. I gave it a 4 star because I haven't used the hitch to pull anything yet. So far I am very pleased. Thank you etrailer!
Hitch looks very will built.Boxes was damaged when it came and was missing the mounting hardware. Etrailer quickly resolved my issue. Very excellent customer service.
I love it! I put it on and it was easy to install. I am a 52 yr old woman and the installation was a breeze!! I have pulled a horse trailer and a 15ft utility trailer with it.

Good design, good price, they advised that it would work better to have help with installation, and I really should have heeded that advice. Extra pair of hands would have been nice.

It took me just under 3 hours to install. Most of that time was cleaning and prepping the welded nuts on the frame rails of my 2020 Pathfinder. Once those were cleaned out, the actual installation was about 45 minutes. It looks great, was an easy install for 2 people.

Installed on a 2020 Pathfinder SV. Bumper definitely needs to be cut for best fit.
This is not the first time I’ve installed tow packages and it’s obvious this thing is a solid piece of hardware - I don’t foresee any issues.
Went on very easy and we are using it to pull a small trailer to hold gear for fishing trips.
Would recommend it highly.
I purchased this hitch for a trip out west, the order was processed and shipped to my house in a week. Worked great, i will be using it for the remainder of my car’s life. The only drawback was that the supplied bolts weren’t the same thread as my Nissan Pathfinder. I ended up removing the stock tow hitch (no longer needed) and used the bolts from that, the purchased the remaining bolts from the dealership.
Everything to spec. Durable and easy to install. Instructions were clear and accurate. Able to install with one person.
