Hey Jameson, does the Etrailer hitch have the same clearance measurements as the Curt?

Curt actually makes the etrailer.com hitches like the part # e98908 that you referenced which is why it's basically identical to the Curt # C13309 that fits your 2018 Nissan Pathfinder. It is a somewhat new hitch line we started offering but not brand new. This means that the install video for the Curt (attached to this page) would cover the install of the # e98908 as well.
The hands free liftgate of your Pathfinder will still work but you just would have to kick your foot to either side of the hitch opening instead of directly in the middle.
If you needed trailer wiring too the # 118670 is the kit to use for a 4-way or part # 118273 for a 7-way. These are very easy to install and also very reliable.
