Will Installation of Hitch # e98908 require any trimming of the Fascia for a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder SV? Is this something that would be easy to install myself?

Yes, there is fascia trimming required to install the etrailer item # e98908 hitch on your 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. I have linked a video of the installation being done on a 2018 Pathfinder we had in the shop over the summer. If you skip ahead to the 6:40 mark you will see the cut that needs to be made. As far as installation goes you should also watch the video to see if it is something you would feel comfortable and capable of doing yourself. This hitch has a 5 out of 10 rating on our difficulty scale. With the right tools and some basic knowledge you should be able to get this hitch installed in about an hour. I have also linked the installation instructions below.

If you need a wiring harness you will want the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector item # 118273.

To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
