When we installed the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e98908 on a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder in our shop we ended up with a receiver height of 13" to the inside top of the receiver tube. As all trailers will be different heights for the coupler you will want to measure the coupler height of your trailer to determine the most appropriate ball mount for your 2019 Nissan Pathfinder.

I recommend the Rapid Hitch Adjustable, Aluminum Ball Mount Kit # AM3462 if you are unsure of what trailers you will be hauling. It comes with both a 1-7/8" and 2" hitch ball and is adjustable with up to 4" or rise or drop in 1" increments. This will level a trailer with a 9"-17" ball coupler height on your Pathfinder. Best of all the aluminum hitch construction will not rust away.

I recommend installing the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118273 with a Curt Easy Mount Bracket # C58000, for the trailer lighting on your Pathfinder. This is designed to plug into the OEM connectors and activate the factory tow package with the included fuses and relays. You will get a 7-way blade connector that can be adapted to a 4-way flat for smaller trailers with the Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter # PK12716.

The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 and Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3050-P can be added to complete the factory tow package and allow for you to tow trailers that require an electric brake controller.
