No one wants a bulky hitch hanging under the bumper. This hidden design keeps the cross tube tucked behind it, leaving only the receiver visible when in use. When you’re done carrying your bikes or cargo, you can remove the 2" x 2" receiver tube completely for a clean, from-the-factory look. The hitch plug covers the opening to keep dirt and debris out, so the car keeps its sleek appearance every day.

Mounting and removing a hitch shouldn’t take all afternoon. With this design, the receiver snaps into place in seconds—no tools required. Just push it into the stainless steel block until it latches automatically, press the built-in lock to secure it, and you’re ready to load up your bike rack or cargo carrier. When you’re finished, turn the handle clockwise and pull it out. The included key locks and unlocks the receiver for simple theft protection and peace of mind.

Carrying bikes or extra cargo means trusting that your hitch can handle the weight. This model has a maximum tongue weight of 350 lbs and a solid stainless steel build that resists corrosion. The sturdy center block keeps everything tight and stable on the road, while the black powder coat finish adds even more rust protection. It meets SAE J684 safety regulations for confidence in every trip.
This hitch mounts directly to existing points under the vehicle using a simple bolt-on setup—no drilling or welding needed. It protects factory crumple zones and keeps ground clearance unchanged. The design makes DIY installation practical using basic tools, so you can get it installed in your own driveway without special equipment or modifications.

The only trailer kit that would fit on a BMW (convertible). I love trailering my small sailboat with that car and the towing kit is beautifully made. It is removeable (so you can't see that there is a hitch on the car) but it is so elegant and well made that I leave it showing! It is expensive though.
I needed a hitch to transport my ebikes, but have a BMW 328i Convertible, so I needed something that could fulfill the mission, without compromising on the grand looks of my car. I had even contemplated on purchasing another vehicle, but that seemed like a waste of money just to have a hitch for my bikes! Ugh!
Well, let me tell you, the Stealth Hitch is perfect! And the staff there were very knowledgeable and went the extra mile in assisting me. If you’re in the market for a hitch, I would highly recommend that you consider the Stealth Hitch!
The design is great. The instructions are good. The system bolts right up to my BMW 335d. The bumper needs a support removed, and some trimming to work well on my Diesel. The bumper supports did need some bending to bolt up nicely. Really minor. I'm not sure if that would be true on all 3 series. It is essentially invisible. Once you get the bumper cover off, it couldn't be easier. The only drawback I can see is you'll lose your tow point on the rear. Solution is to carry your receiver at all times and they could pull you with that in a pinch. Or, weld on a nut for the tow loop. It should be noted that there are tow packages, and rack packages. One of my pictures shows a receiver with a hitch. This is not correct. But it does show what it looks like.
