Hi Robin: Is me again, Alberto. Did availability change for the Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy Hybrid 2024 trailer electrical harness? Also could you recommend me roof bars for same vehicle? This Santa Fe is having side elevated original rails, but no cross bars. Last, but nos least, what about a hitch for a BMW 328i Convertible 2012? This one probably 1 1/4”. Thank you.

Hi Alberto; the situation with the wiring harness has not changed. There are still no plug and play options available. For a roof rack that fits your raised rails I recommend the Yakima JetStream system. You will need the TimberLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y33TR along with the 60" Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00426. I like this roof rack since it is extremely quiet compared to others. You're always going to have added noise when you put on a roof rack so any noise reduction is a plus.
The only hitch that fits the 2012 BMW 328i Convertible is the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH94VR. This has a 2" receiver with a 350 lb max tongue weight which is only designed for accessories like a bike rack. If you plan on using it for towing you need the # SH78VR instead which includes the towing kit.
