Video Transcript for A Closer Look at the Goal Zero Boulder 50 Solar Panel

Today we're going to take a look at the Goal Zero Boulder 50-watt Solar Panel. This solar panel does not hold a charge, it actually produces power when it's exposed to the sunlight, and then you connect it to recharge a portable power station. It is constructed of a strong tempered glass with a nice aluminum frame that has added corner protection, and the solar cell type they use is a monocrystalline design. It is designed for temporary or permanent installation. You can see it has this nice integrated kickstand that'll actually let you adjust the angle to capture more sun. The Boulder 50 solar panel works best with all of the small to medium power packs and power stations like the Goal Zero Sherpa and the Gold Zero Yeti models. It does include this MC 4 to 8-millimeter adapter cable for connecting to the power pack or power station.

It is waterproof. The rated power is 50 watts. Open circuit voltage is 18 to 20 volts. You can chain up to four solar panels together to collect more power from the sun. The additional solar panels we do sell separately, and it is chainable up to 150 watts. The weight on this is only about 12 1/2 pounds.

You can see it's a nice black color. And the last thing I want to do is just give you dimensions on the solar panel itself.Width on it is going to be right at . Let's go to the widest point where the corner protections are, it's 21 inches. Height of it, again at the widest point we'll do, is 26 1/2 inches. And the depth on it is only gonna be right about one and a half inches deep.

But that should do it for the review on the Gold Zero Boulder 50 Watt Solar Panel.
