That is a great question, Toren, and thanks for pointing this out.

The C94ER is not the correct hitch for your 2023 Buick Envision. It only fits the 2022 model, and I’m getting that corrected in our fit guide.

For your 2023 Envision, the one you want is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, part # C94NR. It’s a Class III hitch with a 2 inch receiver and is a great option for your Envision from a reputable brand. I’ve also attached an installation video so you can see what the install looks like.

What are you planning to use the hitch for, a bike rack or towing?

The Curt hitch receiver (C94NR) from eTrailer was a perfect fit for my 2025 Envision, which is the same generation / frame as the 2023. It bolted directly to the frame and is nearly invisible except for the 2" receiver tube that is nearly flush and just below the rear bumper, without any cutouts or obstruction of the lower backup lamp. I had my local mechanic install it, took less than an hour.

@BradJ Hi Brad, thank you for joining the conversation! It sounds like the Curt hitch is working out great for you. What do you use it for? Towing or accessories?

When I ordered mine, I thought I could install it myself but I found it too difficult to slide it in because of the exhaust system. I ended up having to pay a trailer hitch place to install it for $100 bucks. He did it in a matter of minutes without having to disassemble the exhaust system which I thought, at that point, would be required. I did do the electrical hook up without much difficulty. Other than that, I've had no issues with the unit and am happy with the purchase. I will also say that if your car has the latest bells and whistles with regards to "assisted breaking" you will need to go into your car settings and turn on the fact that you have a hitch on otherwise when you attempt to back up with this unit on, it will slam on your brakes and not let you go anywhere.
