Looking For Pictures Of Trailer Hitch Installed On 2025 Lexus RX350

Question:

Is there a video or photo that shows how this hitch E27MV would look on a 2025 lexus RX350 or similar model? Also would it interfere with the kick-open feature for the cargo door?

Hello Gene, thanks for reaching out. We have not had the chance to install the # e27MV hitch here at our shop yet, so I am afraid I do not have any pictures I can share. We were able to install a similar hitch, the Curt Class 3 Hitch # C29VV on a 2024 Lexus RX350H. I have included a picture for you below. This is very similar to what the # e27MV hitch will look like when installed, if not identical. The receiver will sit right below the bumper. If anything, the crosstube on the # C29VV hitch would be more recessed/less visible behind the bumper.

Installation of this hitch should not affect the functionality of the kick sensor. In some cases, the sensor is blocked in the area underneath the receiver, but if you wave your foot on either side of the receiver it will activate. When we installed that hitch here, the sensor functionality was unchanged.

Thank you, Jesse. I thought the E trailer hitch would be less visible because it has a V shape. But you’re saying the opposite, that the Curt crossbar would be less visible than the E trailer.. Is that correct? I just want to be sure that’s what you meant.

@GeneL Ah yes I got my part numbers mixed up. Sorry for the confusion. The etrailer hitch # e27MV would be slightly less visible compared to the Curt # C29VV.
