Get More Out of Your Vehicle: Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver with 3,500 lbs Capacity

This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gives you the versatility to haul gear, bikes, or small trailers without hassle. With a 2" x 2" receiver opening and a 3,500 lbs maximum gross trailer weight rating, it’s built for everyday towing and cargo needs. The 350 lbs tongue weight rating is plenty for bike racks, small campers, or light utility trailers. Whether you’re heading out for a weekend trip or hauling equipment around town, this hitch is ready to go.

Built to Last: Fully Welded, Powder-Coated Steel Construction

The round-tube design isn’t just for looks—it’s fully welded steel for strength and durability. It’s finished with a gloss black powder coat laid over a protective base coat to fight off rust and corrosion. That means the hitch stays sturdy and looks good even after years of exposure to road grime and weather. Precision robotic welding ensures every connection is solid, giving you confidence every time you tow.

DIY-Friendly Install: Bolt-On Mounting with No Welding Required

Installing this hitch is straightforward thanks to its custom-fit design. It bolts directly onto the frame using the included hardware—no welding or fabrication needed. The mounting holes line up where they should, making alignment simple and saving you time in the garage. Everything required for installation comes in the box, so you can get it mounted and ready to use with basic tools.

Clean Look That Complements Your Vehicle: Round-Tube Style with Visible Cross Tube

The visible cross tube gives it a clean, finished appearance without sticking out awkwardly under the bumper. Its round-tube style adds a bit of polish while keeping a solid, functional presence at the back of your vehicle. It’s a simple way to add capability without sacrificing aesthetics or ground clearance.

by:

Great service & easy to work with on install! Highly recommend!!!

by:

Fit well and used it the same weekend. It took a little longer than it should have -- and I wish I would have had a helper to lift it in place, but go for it! 2012 GL450.

Easy to install and great stuff from et railer

Missing hardware n mounting brackets. Took too long to get missing pát. Second shipment was still missing parts.

by:

I received the hitch today, 2 days after ordering it, very fast shipping... In about 1 hour I had it installed on the ML-350. fits great and looks great as well... The hardest part about installing it was getting the plastic off of the ML-350, but that is not the fault of the hitch manufacture... Great hitch, great service...
Thanks Patrick...

Nut plate bolts were welded on crooked and caused a nightmare trying to thread bolt onto nut(2hours wasted). Did not realize what was going on until I took off for the third time and installed bolts for a visual check off vehicle .Seeing the long bolts out of parallel when threaded into nut plate I realized what was happening. Bad quality control.
Otherwise good hitch

Installed on my 2008 Mercedes 450 GL. Straight forward installation. Good directions with pictures. No modifications needed to car or rear fender skirt. FYI - Having an extra set of hands around would be helpful to hold the weight of the hitch when starting the bolts. Very happy with product and installation.

by:

I installed in under an hour. Helps to have extra set of hands to help hold it while installing. Would definitely suggest buying from you all. Thanks for a great product.

by:

This hitch was a bit of a beast to put on, especially if doing it solo. Definitely have a friend on call. Ultimately, it has been fine since the install. A squeak has developed and, while I'm sure it has more to do with the car than the hitch, it wasn't there before I installed the hitch. Something with the install must have jarred something loose, which is not surprising. I used it solely for a bike rack and it has safely gotten my bike everywhere I've taken it. If it wasn't for the squeak that developed, I would be 100% satisfied. I've since purchased another hitch for my other vehicle and will continue to use etrailer in the future.

by:

I purchased the 2 inch Curt trailer hitch for my Mercedes truck. The product is well made and easy to install, I can’t wait to use it. I would one recommendation for the installation, instead of disconnecting the mufflers by the rubber grommets, just unbolt the rubber grommets from the mounts.

  • Recommended Hitch for 2010 Mercedes-Benz ML350 4matic
As long as your 2010 Mercedes Benz ML350 isn't a BlueTEC or doesn't have the air ride suspension, the Curt # 13342 is what I'd recommend. The # C13102 you'd looked at is for the 2012 GL350, and wouldn't be a fit for your ML350.

  • Trailer Hitch Needed for a 2013/2014 Mercedes-Benz GL450
Although the VIN would help to determine the model year of your Mercedes-Benz GL450, in this case the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13190 fits both a 2013 and a 2014 model year so determining which model year you have doesn't matter for the trailer hitch. If you let me know what you will be using the trailer hitch for I can make additional recommendations if necessary.

  • Trailer Hitch that Fits 2010 Mercedes Benz 350ML BlueTEC
We have a hitch that fits your 2010 Mercedes Benz 350ML with BlueTEC with the Curt hitch part # C13102 but this has a towing capacity of up to 3,500 lbs unlike what you mentioned the factory hitch having. This hitch would work great to tow a trailer up to 3,500 lbs but it would not allow you to have the full towing capacity of your vehicle that I also verified is 7,200 lbs.

  • What Is Needed To Tow With a 2011 Mercedes-Benz GL450
The highest rated trailer hitch we have for your 2011 Mercedes-Benz GL450 is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13102 which does have a class III rating but is limited to only 3,500 lbs. Therefore, in order to receive a trailer hitch that is capable of your vehicle's maximum trailer towing capacity of 7,500...

The only hitch receiver available for 2010 Mercedes-Benz ML350 diesels is a class 3 hitch like the Curt item # C13102 with a 3500 lbs weight limit. The aftermarket hitch receivers do not have the same towing capacity as the OEM hitch receivers which is causing such a wide discrepancy in weight capacity. This has to do with the ML350 diesel ADBLUE tank and its placement by the spare tire. There is not enough space to attach a large enough hitch receiver that is bigger than a class 3. The...
