Question:
I have a 2010 Mercedes GL450 for which I need a hitch. I am pulling a travel trailer GVWR 6500 lbs and hitch weight 535 lbs. My weight distribution hitch is a Husky 32218 Center Line TS with Spring Bars - 800 lb. to 1,200 lb. Tongue Weight Capacity 2-5/16inch Ball. Your web site recommends a Curt Class III Round Tube Receiver Hitch - 2010 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class 3500 lb/350 lb. Do you have an appropriate hitch recommendation for this vehicle and application?

The only trailer hitch we offer for your 2010 Mercedes-Benz GL450 is the Curt 2-inch Class III hitch # C13102. This hitch presents a fairly involved installation procedure, requiring removal and reattachment of exhaust brackets, exhaust tips, heat shields, and fascia bracket; heat shields may also require trimming. I have linked an installation video along with the written instructions.
This hitch is rated for a maximum trailer weight of 3500-lbs. Also, please note that it is NOT rated for use with any weight distribution system.
I reviewed an online edition of the owner's manual for the GL450 and on page 367 it notes the maximum gross trailer weight that can be towed is 7500-lbs, far in excess of the hitch capacity. When a hitch and vehicle carry different ratings the lower rating applies, so unfortunately the one hitch we have to offer for your GL450 has neither the trailer weight capacity you need nor the compatibility with the weight distribution system you have.
