This is the third trailer hitch that I have purchased from eTrailer. They have all been easy to install and have served us well. One has been on our Prius for years and there is no sign of rust, so the paint coating is solid.
It is perfect! It arrived in short order and was easy to instal. I am using it with a bike rack, so I did not need any electrical connections, but that can be installed with this hitch.

We use the hitch for carrying a bike rack and towing a utility trailer on our Chevy Bolt. The hitch was easy to install and works great.
This hitch fit my 2017 Chevy Bolt perfectly. I carry bikes on a Yakima hitch-style rack, and pull a small solar power trailer when we're working remotely. I've even pulled a 6'x12' flatbed trailer with mulch on this hitch with my Bolt (suspension complains, but car has plenty of power). Now I just have to figure out how to wire into the Bolt for trailer wiring. I hired a friend's shop to install the hitch, so can't speak to ease if installation, but they had no problems.
Had some issues installing - there appears to be an extra plate on the 2020 Bolt that needs an extra nut to be removed and then added back between the hitch rack and the nut. Krzysztof's review shows the plate.
The reason for the 1 star review is the hitch doesn't hold my rack firmly. There is significant bounce using the Kuat NV 2.0 rack with a single MTB (~25lbs) on it. With 2 bikes on the rack, it seems unsafe.
Maybe the rack is too heavy for this hitch, but the rack (50lbs) plus the MTB (25 lbs) is well below the rating of 100lbs.
I had the Trailer Hitch receiver installed about a year ago. It may be the car, or the hitch, but I can only put two light bikes on it with my smallest bike rack. So two road bikes do well, as does one hybrid or Mountain bike.

It us usable nut not ideal. Cannot carry more than one bike. With two bikes the rack bounces alot.
This trailer hitch is one of the better purchases that I've ever made. Installation was a breeze. I don't use it often but sure am glad I've got it when I need it.
The unit arrived in a couple of days. Just a big box with a bit of heavy steel in it. Thanks for no bubble wrap to landfill. Instructions were terse. I followed them. They were Much better than the [online's]. The whole process took about an hour. Looks great. Should easily hold up a couple of Tadpole trikes. Hope it doesn’t burn battery too fast.

The only reason it is not 5 star is the quality of mounting instructions.
I followed up the ECO trailer mounting video and ended up having issues with CURT hitch installation which is different. Once figured it out everything was fine.

Very easy to install on a 2023 Chevy Bolt. I did not need to trim any of the fascia. I've had this hitch for over a year and primarily use it to connect a thule bike rack. With one or two bikes on the rack there are no problems. I did place 4 bikes on the rack once and that was too much weight for the bolt, the frame plate bent slightly which effected the angle of the hitch. I was able to remove the hitch easily and reinstalled the hitch with a couple of washers on the lower studs to compensate for the angle. Will only be hauling one or two bikes from now on.
The product came scratched in places removing the powder coating. But I would rather have that (after all it is a hidden hitch) than a whole bunch of styrofoam packaging. For an old DIY'er crawling under the vehicle, it is a bit more difficult to install than anticipated. The instructional pictures, both in the online PDF and the printed copy in the package, are so dark that they are basically useless. Also, on my vehicle the backup sound producer is attached to two bolts, so it requires taking all three nuts off the driver side. Looks like it will do what it was designed to do.
The hitch seems fine, but it just hangs there unused. The light controller doesn't work, so I can't tow with the vehicle.
2023 Bolt. Instructions could have been more detailed so the install was harder then I thought it would be, but still manageable. I had to remove most of the bumper to fit my tools. However the hitch attaches by 4 bolts that are already on the car so once most of the bumper was off install was easy.
My Bolt had a removable trim peice on the bumper right where the directions said you would need to make cuts. They car seems to have been designed for an eventual hitch attachment, and no cuts were needed. I bought my Bolt in May 2023,so at some point they started adding this removable trim.

Thank you for the review! I wanted to first share a link about what a normal amount of movement looks like. Secondly, an anti rattle device may take care of any other excessive bouncing. I shared a link to our anti rattle devices.
