Easy to install. Looks good mounted. Haven't pulled anything with it yet but don't expect any problems.

I installed this hitch on my wife's 2007 jeep commander Rocky Mountain edition.(even though the instructions said this hitch won't go on a rocky mountain edition. Perfect hitch. Had to do a few modifications. One was the cross brace from my tow hook. The nut to the bumper frame hole would not come off even with a big impact wrench. I had to use an angle grinder and cut the bolt off and I cut that brace close to the tow hook. The other side of that bolt I couldn't get out as I couldn't get the bumper cover assembly to pry back far enough even with the 6 body pins out. So I had to cut a little bit of the plastic from behind that bolt and that allowed the bolt to come out. See the pictures. Everything else went fine. I still have my tow hook. Later I will bolt some rebar up and fix the cross brace on my tow hook. But as for now I have an awesome hitch.

The product was good. It took only about 30 minutes to gather my tools and install the hitch.
There was a problem in shipping and receiving the package: I suppose that it wasn't packed properly (no packing material, and only one piece of tape secured the top and one piece the bottom). That chunk of metal deserved more and the lack of tape caused the box to burst open during the delivery process and therefore delayed the receipt by UPS. The driver didn't want to deliver the box fearing that some of the contents spilled out. Having learned this after I initiated an inquiry for the non-delivery I confirmed that the box should only contain the hitch and hardware. The package was delayed from a Saturday delivery to the following Monday.

The hitch was just as easy to install as it was to order. Four bolts and nuts. Easy peassy. Its a well made and rugged unit that will last for ever as long as you dont let it rust up on you. Thats what happened to my last one: I was always dipping the rear end of my car into the ocean and didnt bother to rinse my car or the hitch afterwards.
This took me longer to get the spare tire out of the way than to install this hitch bracket…excellent product easy for any novice to handle, it took me 15 minutes to complete.

Appears to be very well made, solid. Perfect fit for my 2006 Jeep Commander. Easy bolt on.
Everything arrived carefully packaged and on time. The product installation was quick and easy.
It fit no problems. The finish and quality of the welds are typical curt quality, second to none.
I really appreciate the install videos etrailer has with the products.

Exactly as advertised, a perfect fit. I did the installation in my driveway. I wound up removing 4 push pins instead of the 2 shown in the instructions so I could push the plastic bumper guard away from the frame enough to slide the receiver into position. I plan to buy another hitch receiver from etrailer for my son's CX-9.
This is my third receiver from etrailer.com and again a super easy install. The wiring kit for the flat plug was simple and easy as well. (Both were installed in 45 minutes despite it being my first time puzzling the removal of the tail light assemblies .) Ordering was simple, the part fit like a glove and it arrived the day they told me it would. What’s not to love? I don’t even shop around any more since they always have the best price anyway. If I need it I come here, period.
Excellent product and customer service. In addition to the hitch, I ordered a wiring harness, ball mount and ball. I am very satisfied with the items I received, but I want commend etrailer on thier customer service. I was contacted via e-mail to advise my order was received and that it would ship soon, and subsequent e-mails confirmed the delivery every step of the way. I highly recommend etrailer and will use them anytime/everytime I need towing items in the future.

It does the job...
Very easy installation of both the hitch snd wiring harness. Basically one 3/4” socket, zip ties, and drilling one 3/32 hole for the grounding wire.
Great product, fast shipping, and the instructional installation videos were very helpful. I will continue to be an e-trailer customer!

Easy installation on 06 commander. Dropped spare to get better access fits great. Just use for bike rack. “Waiting for my ship to come in” lol

Went on my 2008 Jeep Commander as easy as pie. Had a harder time removing the plastic bumper clips than I did installing the hitch. The whole job took about 20 minutes. Great product and fast delivery.
