Distance From Hitch Tube to Bumper of Curt Hitch # 13414

How close to the bumper does this hitch come?

When we installed the Curt hitch part # 13414 on a similar Jeep Commander as your 2006 model we found that from the center of the hitch pin out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper the measurement is 3-1/2 inches.
In case you were asking about the vertical distance between the hitch tube and the bumper I attached a picture to show that it fits right under that as well.
