I wasn't able to find anything using that part number but I can tell you that the Curt hitches we carry for the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, parts # C13171 and # C13172, do not fit a 2008 Jeep Commander. Trailer hitches are designed for specific vehicles and those two are not desined in such a way that the same hitch will fit on them. Normally the only time a custom hitch fits more than one vehicle is when those vehicles are built on the exact same platform.
The Curt trailer hitch receiver we carry that does fit the 2008 Commander is part # 13414.
