  Hey Nathan, Since this is going on a snowmobile you would want a grease that's designed for low temperatures and water resistant. The Loctite ViperLube # LOC54FR has a -40 to 500 deg F temperature range but isn't made for marine use so it would likely break down faster with all the moisture from the snow and rust out your bearings/spindle.   I recommend using the CE Smith Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # CE13515 for your Calkins boat trailer. These have the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern and is prepacked and greased for your spindle. You can add the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors # BB1980A-SS to these hubs if you wish to be able to more easily fill your hub full of Grease # LOC54FR.

  According to CE Smith they use a Calcium Sulfonate grease on their hubs like the CE Smith Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # CE13515. This would require either the Tub # LOC64FR or Tube # LOC54FR of grease. While the color of this grease is tan it will still work as they have the same complex. The LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease # L11390 you found is a Lithium complex and should not be mixed with the Calcium Sulfonate grease.

  The Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-K you got comes with a lithium complex grease which is the same complex as our Grease # L11390. It appears the Lucas water-resistant marine grease is a Calcium Sulfonate based grease similar to the Loctite # LOC54FR. These types of grease should not be mixed together. To use your Lucas grease you will need to clean all the grease from the hubs and bearings.
