Question:
I dont know what grease my hubs came with. I have bought Lucas water-resistant marine grease the blue stuff, so is it compatible with the grease that came in the hubs I bought from etrailer?

Expert Reply:
The Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-K you got comes with a lithium complex grease which is the same complex as our Grease # L11390. It appears the Lucas water-resistant marine grease is a Calcium Sulfonate based grease similar to the Loctite # LOC54FR. These types of grease should not be mixed together. To use your Lucas grease you will need to clean all the grease from the hubs and bearings.
