When your grease gun won't prime after a cartridge change, you're left pumping with no grease reaching the fitting. This grease gun has an air bleed valve to help restore flow, and its die-cast aluminum head is rated for up to 10,000 PSI.

Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're looking at our Kona Tools Heavy Duty Pro Grease Gun. Now it's gonna come with a six inch rigid tube and a 12 inch flexible nylon hose. Now that six inches is thread length to thread length, not including the tip that's on there. Now this is what we call a four jaw coupler, and I do wanna show you that from the top down to give you a better view.
You've got four jaws in there that's gonna grab and hold onto the grease zerk with a nice, secure fit. And then as you can see here on the head, you got a pressure release valve as well. So a very, very high pressure, max 10,000 PSI. This does use and fit the standard 14 ounce grease cartridges or you can bulk fill it as well. You can go through the instructions as far as how to do that.
The biggest thing with grease guns that I've found over the years of using 'em is you'll get air pockets sometimes inside of here. So you may be like, man, I just filled it, it was working and now I'm pumping and I'm not getting nothing coming out. What the heck It's nine times out of 10 an air pocket. So, make sure you follow the instructions on how to reset that, get the air out of there, get that pressure all back in there so you can get going again on your maintenance that you're doing. Again, the 12 inch flexible nylon hose, that's gonna be great for reaching into spots that maybe you can't get at the right angle with the rigid option.
You get a nice ergonomic handle here for pumping, giving you plenty of leverage. These are great for automotive, ag, marine, trailer use, industrial applications, whether it's heavy equipment, all kinds of options for you. And everything here is a durable construction, nice black powder coat finish. It's even got grip here in the metal when they made it, it's machined in place. So, it's gonna give you some extra grip and of course the end here will unscrew and that's where you'll insert that 14 ounce cartridge.
Now we sell cartridges separately here. Make sure as well you're getting the correct kind of grease, rated for whatever grease that you currently have in your equipment. So, that's another thing a lot of people don't think about and we can help you answer any questions here at etrailer as well about that if you need to. But you always wanna make sure that you're putting the same kind of grease in the same kind of grease, because sometimes the two greases, they don't work together and they can actually break each other down depending on what their makeup is.
