The purchase was the T-handle and locking mechanism. This was exactly what I was looking for. Very sturdilly made. Very pleased.
Quality looking and feeling stainless steel latch. Works great and fairly easy to install. Ordered 3 and all were keyed the same, which is what I wanted. Does make me question how many key combos are available and how secure they are though. Thanks a ton!
A mounting template would have been nice ( I made my own.) No instructions were provided. I figured it out though.

The T handle latch works as designed. I was able to adapt it for my needs. This was the only place where I found the type of fastener I wanted to secure the doors of the custome made tv cabinet. Thanks!
etrailer sold me junk. Several things about this part and the service I received: 1) Only the pan for the latch is stainless. All of the underlying mechanism is zinc-plated carbon steel or aluminum die-cast and the handle appears to be chrome-plated die-cast. 2) The lock mechanism broke easily on a day that I forgot to unlock it and just twisted the handle with it locked. A thief would have no problem opening it. 3) I contacted customer service and they told me that they would not accept a return and instead offered $[XX] off. Look, junk is junk, regardless of the price, but I countered with a request for 50% off. My other offer was for them to keep their refund and I would write a review telling the truth about their merchandise and their customer service. You can see which option they chose. The customer service falls a little short. They would rather have a bad review than let loose of $30 partial refund for a substandard part.

Wish they came with some installation instructions/suggestions but they are nice heavy-duty latches. This was the only place on the interwebs we could find them with link rods. Etrailer also treated us with excellent customer service and fast shipping time to New York. I would definitely recommend etrailer and will use them in the future.
Having a shop tool cart needing to have the lower OPEN area secured, i made a steel angle door frame along with expanded metal and used this beauty to secure (lock) the lower formerly open area. Flawless victory.

The solid quality of this latchlocking product hasnt changed or failed since i bought it. Ive had nothing but flawless performance from this locking T handle and given that it took me a bit of time to find one i have kept etrailer.com as a source of parts like this one.
Very hard to find. Worked well on a custom tool box.

The handle worked great. The only thing I would change would be a better anchoring system for the rods.
