Your battery dies, so you jump it. While this starter is still connected, it recharges itself from your vehicle's alternator. You toss it back in the glovebox and get on with your day, knowing it'll be ready the next time you need it.
Some people buy a jump starter, use it once, and forget to recharge it. Then, it's dead the next time they need a jump. That's why this one charges straight from your vehicle in about 40 seconds. After the jump, it refuels itself using the alternator, so you can pack it away and move on without adding anything to your to-do list.
There's no special sequence, no buttons to press. Just connect the clamps and start your vehicle. If the battery is too low to detect, you can manually activate override mode. It's a simple process that takes just a few seconds. The system is designed to be straightforward, even if you've never used one before.
This jump starter is small enough to fit in a glovebox, but strong enough to start gas engines up to 6 liters. That includes sedans, SUVs, light trucks, and even lawnmowers. It's compact, but it isn't underbuilt, and you don't need to haul around something heavy as a brick to feel prepared.
Mistakes can happen when you're in a rush, or when someone else less experienced wants to help. The clamps are spark-free, so you can't connect them in a way that damages your vehicle. It also protects against short circuits, reverse polarity, over-voltage, and overheating. You don't need to manage any of it. The system handles those risks on its own.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Projecta Intelli Start Jump Starter. Now some people may buy a jumpstarter, use it once, and forget to recharge it. Then it's dead the next time that they meet the jump. That's why this one charges straight from your vehicle in about 40 seconds.
After the jump, it's going to refuel itself using your alternator so you can pack it away and move on without adding anything to your to-do list. So you're just going to connect the clamps to start your vehicle. And I just wanted to show you real quickly where this connects. So it has a really nice cap here. It seals up those ports really well, as you can see.
And then you're just going to plug this in, just like that. And so these clamps, obviously, will go on your battery. And if the battery's too low to detect, you're gonna be able to manually activate the override mode. It's gonna be a simple process, it's just gonna take a few seconds. And this system is designed to be straightforward, even if you've never used one before.
And this is small enough to fit in a glove box, but strong enough to start gas engines up to six liters. That includes sedans, SUVs, light trucks, and even lawnmowers. So it's compact but it isn't underbuilt. And you don't need to haul around something that's heavy as a brick to feel like you are prepared for virtually anything. The clamps are spark free so you can connect them in a way that is not going to damage your vehicle.
And this is also going to protect against short circuits, reverse polarity, over voltage, and overheating. So you don't need to manage any of it. The system's gonna handle those risks on its own. You're gonna be able to charge your phone or small devices on the go with the built-in USA port, as you can see here. And then you also are going to get this charging cable with what, when I was a kid we used to call this the cigarette lighter port, to plug that into the cigarette lighter port. And you can use that to charge this up as well. This has a built-in LED. And I don't have this powered up, but I just wanted to show you what that built-in LED is gonna look like for low light situations. It's a bright 180 lumen LED floodlight. It's gonna help you work clearly and see clearly at night. Also includes an SOS mode for emergencies. So this is a 6,400 milliamp hour battery. Again 6,400. And then let me give you some overall measurements, just so you have a good idea of the size of this unit. So the overall length, we're sitting pretty close to seven inches long. And then the overall width, about three and a half inches. And then the overall thickness, let me come around to see if I can see that as well. Right at about one in three quarters or so inches thick. It's about a pound, pound and a half. So it's not terribly heavy at all. It comes with a pouch so you can keep everything inside, keep it all together. So you're not gonna have to worry about losing anything easily. So it's a great little unit. Packs a lot of power for its size. It's gonna be great to have on hand and it serves many different uses for you. If you happen to have any other additional questions that I did not cover with you today, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We do wanna be sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. I think it's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
I’m giving it a 4 star for now. Only reason I haven’t had to use it
I like the compact design - well built and the design to charge other accessories
I know I will be very satisfied
It will get a 5 star rating
I just got it, and haven't used it yet, but the design and functionality is perfect to carry in my boat for one of those times when the motor won't start. I know it's bound to happen.
