Question:

Hi there! what is a good backup jump start ? I mostly drive a small SUV, but I want something compact just for emergencies. I don’t want to overdo it.

Hey Ethan, that's always a good idea!

For simple emergency coverage in a smaller vehicle, the Projecta Intelli-Start 900A jump pack # VX95NR is a great fit. It’s compact, easy to store, and still has the safety features and manual override charge mode that many budget jump starters lack. It’s ideal when portability matters more than maximum power.

It can also charge phones and accessories off the aux port.

Do you plan to keep it in the vehicle full-time?

Yeah, I’d probably leave it in the car all the time. Does it hold a charge well if it just sits?

@Ethan Yes sir. It holds a charge really well in storage, and since it recharges itself after a jump, most people rarely have to think about plugging it in at all. The battery tech is much batter than a cheapo jump starter that you find in a lot of stores and sites.
