Your battery dies, so you jump it. While this starter is still connected, it recharges itself from your vehicle's alternator. You toss it back in the glovebox and get on with your day, knowing it'll be ready the next time you need it.
Some people buy a jump starter, use it once, and forget to recharge it. Then, it's dead the next time they need a jump. That's why this one charges straight from your vehicle in about 40 seconds. After the jump, it refuels itself using the alternator, so you can pack it away and move on without adding anything to your to-do list.
There's no special sequence, no buttons to press. Just connect the clamps and start your vehicle. If the battery is too low to detect, you can manually activate override mode. It's a simple process that takes just a few seconds. The system is designed to be straightforward, even if you've never used one before.
This jump starter is small enough to fit in a glovebox, but strong enough to start gas engines up to 7 liters and diesel engines up to 4.5 liters. That covers most family vehicles, light-duty work trucks, SUVs, and even small farm or yard equipment. It's compact, but it isn't underbuilt, and you don't need to haul around something heavy as a brick to feel prepared.
Mistakes can happen when you're in a rush, or when someone else less experienced wants to help. The clamps are spark-free, so you can't connect them in a way that damages your vehicle. It also protects against short circuits, reverse polarity, over-voltage, and overheating. You don't need to manage any of it. The system handles those risks on its own.

Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. If you're looking for a jump starter that's gonna be compact, it's gonna work with a wide range of vehicles and it's always gonna be charged when you need to jump something, then Projecta's Intelli-Start Jump Starter is gonna be a great option for you. So let's check it out. Now Projecta's gonna have a ton of different jump starters here on our website, but this one we have here is more so catered to the regular person. So whether you have a gas engine vehicle or a truck that uses diesel, it's gonna work for both of those. And it's gonna be rated for gas engines up to seven liters and diesel ones up to 4.5.
But the big, one of the biggest things that stands out to me is just how compact this is. This isn't gonna take up any space inside your vehicle so you can store it underneath your seat or even sometimes in your glove box. And today I'm mainly gonna be pairing it up with my Honda CRV, but we'd love to see what type of vehicle you're pairing it up with in either a comment or a view. But we're not only gonna be focusing on what it's gonna be like the use this, we'll then go over to some of the specs and extra details about this and then I'll give you my final thoughts. So to get started, I'm just gonna get that jump starter and I'm gonna grab our cables that come with it.
Now they're gonna be separate. You have to plug it into place just with this port on the very front of it, right next to that light. We'll talk about that a little bit more later. Once that's plugged on, then we can hook it up to the battery itself. I will say these alligator clamps, they do feel like they got some resistance, so they do grab on here fairly well.
But I will say this cable that comes with it is kind of short, so you're gonna have to get this pretty close to your battery. Once that's done, then all we have to do is come over here and turn it on just by pressing that red power button. And it's gonna show us a couple things. It's gonna show us what our battery is currently at by these lights here. Really easy to see.
And then it's gonna also gonna give you the symbol over here. And this is gonna be the actual jumpstart button. So I'll just press that now. And now we can actually test out our vehicle to see how it worked. (engine starting) So our car is running now. We we inchesre able to jumpstart it, but you'll notice here how our battery power is looking on the jump starter itself. It's showing that this is flashing and that means that we're using some power to jump our battery, but we're also maintaining that amount of power too. What's happening here is since this uses a lithium iron phosphate battery, we're sending out power to the battery itself and then the alternator in our vehicle is sending power back to this, keep this nice and charged. So what I could essentially do is if I have a couple vehicles around, I jumpstart this to the next one, the next one, and so on. This is essentially never gonna die because it's getting power from your vehicle. And now it sat here for a few seconds, it's already charged back up to full power. Now something I do wanna bring up is that this still can die. The really, the only time is probably gonna die on you is, let's say you haven't used this in a little bit over a year, that inactivity of this will probably need this to be recharged. So for that, this kit is gonna come with some extra cables. Right here in this bag, I'll make sure to turn that off, maintain power, we are gonna get this cable and what you can plug that cable into is gonna be these back ports. Right here, if If I just pull that down, there's gonna be two of them. There's gonna be a USB-C and a USB. One of those is gonna be an input and one's gonna be an output. And this is how you can not only recharge this, but if you have anything, let's say your phone, it's died on you, you can essentially use this as a power bank. And before I talk a little bit more about the bag that this comes with, I do wanna show off that this does have a light belt onto here. So if you just hit this light bulb button where you get, wait a second, or sometimes you might have to press it again. There you go. This is gonna illuminate the area that you're working on. So I find this handy. If you're working on the battery, let's say you got some screwdriver or a socket, it falls somewhere in here. You can kind of see where it went or if it's just at nighttime, you can see where these connections are. And with that bag, this is gonna fit into one of the pockets. It'll be separated into two slots. So one side for the actual charger itself or the jumper itself, and the other side you can put these extra cables into. I like this 'cause it fits into a fairly neat and tight package. Again, this is gonna be small enough to fit into your glove box. But other than that, there's not a whole lot to this. I think it's for anyone who is looking for something that is gonna be reliable, it's well constructed and is gonna last a long time, able to work with a lot of vehicles and not take up very much space. And it's always gonna be charged when you need it to be. But of course, if you guys have any questions, let us know here at etrailer. And again, I'm Matt. Thanks for watching.
