Question:
Hi! I’m deciding between the Projecta 900A and 1,200A for my wife’s SUV. She drives a 2020 Toyota Highlander. Which one makes more sense?

Good morning Chris! Thanks for including the vehicle - that helps a lot.
Both the Projecta 900A jump box # VX95NR and 1,200A jump box # VX63NR will work on a Highlander, but for midsize SUVs, I usually lean toward the 1,200A. The extra amps give you more breathing room if the battery is really low, the weather’s cold, or the car’s been sitting awhile.
The nice thing with both Projecta models - and where they beat a lot of cheaper jump starters and even some NOCO models - is the rapid recharge feature. Once the vehicle starts, the jump pack recharges itself from the alternator, so you’re rarely forced to use the wall charger at all. That means you can keep it in the glove box year round and not worry about it!
If this is something your wife will keep in the car and forget about until it’s needed, the 1,200A is the more forgiving option since it does have a bit more battery capacity to hold up over time. Is she usually driving locally, or does she do longer trips where peace of mind matters more?
