Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. T-connector plugs directly into existing wiring - no cutting or splicing required.
Features:
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in your rear cargo area on the driver's side and passenger's side. You will have to remove the trim panels to access this harness.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

Hello neighbors and friends, Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're taking a look at our Hopkins plugin simple vehicle wiring harness with a nice four pole flat trailer connector. Now folks, this is a custom fit application. I wanna make sure you're double checking the fit guide here at etrailer's homepage, top center where it says My Vehicle. Enter anything such as year, make and model, cab style, bed length, whatever kind of stuff it asks you, submodels, to make sure you're getting the right parts the first time. Now I get into it folks, this will provide a nice four-way trailer connector to the back of your vehicle to then power your trailer's turn signal on tail lights.
And as you can see, it's called a T connector sometimes, 'cause it makes the letter T when it's installed. You'll simply unplug one plug that looks something like this behind the tail light. You'll plug the plug, you unplug into this guy, and you'll plug this one back into the rear of your tail light assembly. It's gonna be a quick simple install. You even got a little white wire here for grounding, with the self-tapping screw included.
You've got thermal or terminal grease, rather, or dielectric grease, some people call it. That's gonna go inside of each connector and on the trailer end, just to help keep moisture out and stuff over time. You've got a couple of cable ties for helping routing the wires, and you got a nice dust cover here, which will go over the end of the four-pole connector. Now once you've installed this, this connector does get stowed underneath the vehicle, near the trailer hitch, so I highly recommend getting a mounting bracket, which will be sold separately, to keep that connector secure. Otherwise, it's gonna kind of be flopping back there in the back, so just kind of keep that in mind as well.
It has a 90-day warranty from the manufacturer, and if you get an adapter that's sold separately, you could technically connect this to a five, six, or seven-pole trailer adapter as well. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look at this Hopkins plugin wiring harness. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
Outstanding, is the word I would use to describe my experience with E trailer. I needed a harness for a 1994 Buick Estate wagon and what they provided me installed and work perfectly.
Looks good, still need to install, but looks straight forward and very well made.
