Excellant heavy product. It took a little fitting to the frame, only because this went on a military truck. Finished project is neat and will haul well
Packaging was horrible. The box didn't hold up and l will have to pickup some bolts and nuts before l can install. Otherwise the hitch itself looks great and will be a nice upgrade to my current hitch.
Great product and at a great value. Fit my vehicle exactly like it was factory.
Hitch is very well made. It is extremely Heavy Duty. Had to ream out all 6 mounting holes to allow use of 5/8" bolts. The side plates hang a little low. Hitch is mounted on a Jayco Seneca motorhome. It is much sturdier than OEM POS that came with it
This thing is super beafy. It's fairly easy to install. I had to drill all 6 holes. I installed this on a 2013 Ford F53 Winnebago 35B. Definitely worth the upgrade.

Still going strong a year later. Super happy with this hitch and purchase.
fit as stated
Yes working great on 1972 Chevy C20 tru ck.
Great product. Heavy duty. I had to drill 4 holes in frame. Looks good. 1987 Chevy V20 4wd 3/4 ton.
Does fit my 97 3500 GMC cab and chassis with the second fuel tank, as promised. Unfortunately, it DOES NOT fit with my second fuel tank armor plate, which had to be removed for installation. I will do some cutting and hopefully be able to bolt it back up with 4 of the 6 bolts, which will be better than nothing.
This is a better hitch for a truck that is lifted a bit higher than mine, as I used the top-most holes for the cross member, and the side fins hang down a clownish amount. Hopefully it will not be a problem in my frequent off road uses. Unloaded, the fins are 13 1/2 inches off the ground.
A very beefy and solid thing, this should tow whatever I need it to, and in the end, function over form. Maybe I will work on a custom rear bumper that will help to hide it some.

The side plates hit the ground when I would go over curbs, or try to back up a hill. It was a small problem, but still a problem. I sold the truck to someone who was going to OTR with it, and he loved it.
Great product
I git the part like you say I wood gate it on time I well tall to us you on part thank you and have a very nice day

HI it have to work out great I user it a lot I am looking at the l track tiy down next hope by the next mouth
The hitch works great, but was not a simple install. None of the holes on the rails matched the frame on my chassis cab F350. I had to trim and make mods to this hitch to make it fit. Not what I expected at all. I am a metal fabricator by trade, so no big deal to me, but others wouldn't have the ability to install this hitch on the same truck as mine. The fit description needs to be reviewed and revised.

Per the installation instructions, drilling is required to install this hitch on a 2011 Ford F350 Cab/Chassis, so the mounting holes in the hitch wont necessarily match up with existing holes in the trucks frame.
The hitch is doing every thing I need it to do. The one problem that I had with it was. I was told it would fit a F-350 2018. With the mounting we had to drop the fuel tank, to get at the rear bolts. Also we had to add a 1/4" plate to both ends of the hitch, evidently the 2017 frame is a half inch narrower then the 2018 model. Once we did that everything went together with out any problems.
I don't want to discourage anyone from buying this hitch. That said, I probably shouldn't go into great detail, as to how I use it. I replaced a class III hitch on my motorhome, to carry a 700 pound motorcycle on a carrier. It it designed to fit 36 inch frames, but simply reversing the brackets, it now fits a 42 inch motorhome frame. Nuff said. It does the job very well.
Hitch came to me in good condition and looks very well built. However, I purchased this for a 1987 Chevrolet dually and it is not a fit for my truck. The first issue I found is with the spare tire. The side brackets are so deep there is no way to get around them to relocate the spare, they simply hang down too far. The hitch is at a good height in the uppermost holes. I attempted to install anyway only to find the center holes directly under a crossmember that would not allow space for a bolt to drop in. Overall looks to be a quality product for whatever its intended purpose just not workable on my square body dually. An expensive paperweight.
After years of comparison I bought this hitch for my US Army 1986 Chevy CUCV M1028 pickup. It had the right dimensions for simple mods to fit the truck, for which no commercial hitch will fit. We had to cut an L notch on both sides of the upright, to clear the shock mount. But there is plenty of steel there. By removing some of the bumper bracket, I was able to retain the bumper mount pieces, less 2.
This hitch is being used on a custom 1969 Chevy C50 pickup truck. I won't be using this truck to haul, it's only for show. It was easy to install, and it looks perfect on the frame. You can't have a truck this big without a big hitch on it.
Great company, for sure!! Bought this to install on my recently acquired 1987 GMC crew cab dually, to be used as a moving and tow rig to trailer my cars south. Installation was straight forward, a bit of drilling and rivet removal, which I was prepared for. Took a bit of time, as you may guess, but I was definitely able to skip the gym today because of it. Loses one star for chipping paint on the side pieces, I'll need to paint to prevent corrosion. Also, one tab on the crossbar was bent, so I had to straighten it to ensure the bolts torque specs were true. I'm very confident it will be up to the task at hand.
This receiver is well made and was not too bad to install. It should be noted that it is more of a "universal" hitch in that it fits multiple vehicles. This does require drilling holes in your truck's frame, which is not a difficult job, but it's not a direct bolt-on hitch. I had to make provisions for my true dual exhaust which added some time to the install, but overall it took about 3 hours to remove my rear bumper, the old class III hitch, and install this one. I use my 1986 GMC C3500 to tow my 24' enclosed car hauler.
Instructions say you need a 9/16 drill bit to drill the holes for the hitch. In all reality you need 11/16 inch to drill the holes in the frame to mount the hitch. I actually used a 3/4 drill bit to complete the install.
Ordered a Class V hitch, controller and wiring and actually received earlier than expected. Great customer service, had looked at one hitch which I thought would work and after talking to customer service purchased another recommend hitch which was best suited to my application.
The product is great; of high quality. The delivery was prompt. I will do business with etrailer.com again
