Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking together at our Race Ramps wheel cribs for both service and display. Folks, these are going to give you up to a 10-inch lift, and they are 16 inches wide. Or rather they can accommodate a supercar tire up to 16 inches wide. Now, the diameter of the wheel itself, you could probably handle about a 24 to-30 inch diameter wheel.
These are rated in impressive 1,500 pounds each. Each one only weighs about 8-1/2 pounds, so they're super lightweight. They have a handle, or a strap here rather, integrated into the anti-slip coating over this high-density EPS foam construction. So, very, very tough material here. It's not going to break down over time.
They're also temperature-resistant, meaning, they're not going to transfer heat or cold up into the rubber of your tires. Now, each crib only weighs, again, about 8-1/2 pounds, so they're going to be easy to pick up, move. As far as using them, it's pretty simple. Jack up the vehicle, slide these under your wheels and tires. Again, whether you're making an oil change or something, doing some service on your ride, or you just want to display it.

These will be a back saver for me doing body work on the lower panels. Amazing how light they are and can still support 1500lbs.
Time to change oil again every 2,500 miles. 2020 718 Spyder with 3.5 inches ground clearance. 414 hp, 6 Spd manual. My birthday is 6/9/54 and will be 70 years old when I change the oil again. Old school mechanic. I raise the car 3 inches at a time to get to the crib height of 24 inches at the front ant rear.

Game changer. Much better than working on jackstands; more room, easier, and feels more secure. Glad I bought the 10" because its about as high as a regular jack will go. With these I can successfully hold off on buying a lift for a few more years.

I have a lift buried in the floor, my garage is only 8’ high, it is great to raise the car using the wheel cribs on one end and ramps on the other. The lift goes back to floor height=this and I slide a piece of plywood over the lift. The car is at a comfortable and safe height to pull a transmission or perform other tasks.
