Specs:
Race Ramps Wheel Cribs are sturdy, solid foam blocks that serve as a tough, but lightweight and rustproof alternative to jackstands. When stacked, they keep the front or rear of your vehicle safely lifted 8" off the ground for service or display. This allows you to perform routine maintenance such as changing your oil, drive belt, or transmission fluid. Additionally, you can use the cribs for display. To use the wheel cribs, raise your vehicle high enough to slide a crib under each tire, then lower your vehicle. The tires will sit snugly in the precision-molded concave cutouts.
They can also be separated into 4 wheel cribs to lift your entire vehicle 4" off the ground.
These cribs are made of ultra-strong, solid core, high-density EPS foam that won't crack or bounce. Each crib supports 1,500 lbs - giving you a total weight capacity of 3,000 lbs for lifting a vehicle for service or display. The cribs are lightweight, weighing only 3 pounds per crib, so you can transport and store them with ease.
The cribs are covered with a textured coating and are flat on one side. This keeps them from skidding while your vehicle is lifted. The coating is a hybrid polyurea compound that is resistant to water and other automotive chemicals commonly found around the garage. And although this coating is durable, it will not scratch, mark, or scrape your garage floor or the ground.

Hi, Matt with etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about some of the wheel crib options by Race Ramps. So let's take a closer look at 'em. All these are gonna be great if you're using 'em for maintenance, the preservation of your tires, or even if you're trying to display your vehicle if you're at a show. And speaking of which, we'd love to see how you're using them. Snag a picture, let us know if you're using it more so for display or maintenance.
So Race Ramps are gonna have two types of wheel cribs, both of them you can get in different heights and sizes. So right here we're gonna have the regular one. This is gonna be the 12 inch rise variation. And over to the other side, we're gonna have the stackable ones. Now the one I'm using today is gonna be the 14 inch one.
That's gonna be its max height, but you can unstack 'em. You'll have a total of four then. And each one of those are gonna have a max height of seven inches. So you can use 'em on all four of your tires to completely lift up your vehicle. But really the only difference between the two is one's gonna be able to stack and the one that's not able to stack is gonna have a handle on it.
Now the way you are gonna be using it on a daily basis if you're doing any type of maintenance, might differ a little bit. So let's kind of go into that now. So let's talk about the stackable ones. If I have them in their lower position, what this does is allow my whole vehicle to be lifted up. So this gives me the opportunity if I need to do any type of detailing on the side of my vehicle, I can do this and do it a little more comfortably.
Now the regular ones are gonna be great if you just need to lift up the front end or the back end of your vehicle. Like for me, if I was gonna use these, I'd probably be changing my oil or something of that nature. The stackable ones can also do that if you just stack 'em on top of each other and they'll sit a little bit higher than the 12 inch one that I have here. And I just wanted to showcase that I can still get underneath here. And there's still plenty of room even with just the seven inch rise. And of course if that's not enough for you, you need more working space in the front end or the back end of your vehicle, you can simply just stack 'em. Or we can go with the other ones that just have a higher rise than seven inches. And what I also like about these is how it's gonna help to the longevity of your tires. So let's say you have a car just sitting around the garage, it's not being moved too much. What can happen a lot of times is your tire can get damaged because if it's on the pavement or concrete, that hard flat surface, you can get these flat spots in your tires. This helps prevent them. So the way this works is since we have this curved surface to here, that's gonna allow for the weight to be more evenly dispersed. And on top of that, this is gonna be extra wide. So it has a lot of surface here to work with, even if you have those extra wide tires. And the second thing, how this helps with the preservation of your tires is gonna be the material. That material's gonna be made from this foam. And it's gonna be very lightweight. You can pick it up typically with one hand, and it's gonna be pretty durable, too. It has a weight capacity of 1500 pounds per one. So we have this on the front axle. It's gonna have a weight capacity of 3000 pounds. If you have it on all four tires, it's gonna have a weight capacity of 6,000 pounds. But what's more is how it disperses temperature. So you don't have to worry about your tires cooling off, heating up a bunch, expanding and cooling off, 'cause if that's doing that, it's gonna wear and tear on the tire. This is gonna prevent that. And what's nice too is they're gonna have an anti-slip coating on 'em. So this isn't gonna be sliding around when you have your vehicle up there and your tires aren't gonna slide around once they're in place, too. And lastly, what I like about these is it's gonna be great for if you're trying to display a show car, 'cause they're gonna last a long time, they're gonna be easy to use and they're not gonna distract from the vehicle that is on display. The biggest thing you gotta keep in mind is how you gonna get your vehicle on here. You just need to make sure you can jack it into place, afterwards, you're good to go. And when you're not using it, they're gonna be really easy to store, since they are just a block, so it shouldn't take up too much space either. But overall, I think all the Race Ramps wheel cribs are gonna be great option for you. And if you still need a little bit of help deciding which one's gonna be best for you, just call us here at etrailer, we'll help you out. But again, I'm Matt. Thanks for watching.
Race Ramps makes fantastic products; and these wheel cribs are no exception.
They were shipped & received very quickly from etrailer.com.
Very pleased with the product, they're light and serve their purpose. The price was also the cheapest I found, cheaper than [on-line retailer] or any other major retailers. Most importantly though,I'm pleased with the customer service I received from etrailer.com. I ordered 2 sets of wheel cribs, 4 in total. When I received my order I was in a hurry and on my way out of town so I set the box in the garage and didn't open it for nearly a month. Upon opening it I discovered I had only been sent one set. I was worried since it had been so long since I had placed my order that I wouldn't be able to get them to correct it. I was wrong, a short 5 minute call explaining what had happened and they had another set on the way, no questions asked. Good deals are easy to find, great service isn't. Thank you for having both.
Would recommend, makes working under the car safer, easy storage too.
Great company to deal with. Kim provided Great customer service when I was having a problem trying to place the order on line. She followed up with updates on my order.
Another "I should have bought these things a long long time ago" item. YES they are quite expensive if you go the modular route. However talk about easy to use. No longer will I have to jockey for frame space when I need to jack as well as put a jack stand in the same area. Will definitely make all my under carriage maintenance a breeze now. Harbor Freight's 2-ton long-reach low-profile jack had enough lift for my application without having to resort to wood blocks.
