You never plan to get lost, but if you do, this lantern helps you get found. Its S.O.S. beacon, waterproof build, and 10-hour run time keep you visible, so rescue arrives before supplies run low. It also collapses to store for the next emergency.
For adventurers who count every ounce, this emergency lantern is a pack-friendly win. Less than a pound, it won't tip the scales, leaving more space for essentials (or snacks). Its lightweight design means you can trek further, pack smarter, and still have reliable S.O.S. light at camp. And when it's not an emergency, switch to a steady red glow for a peaceful, ambient light.
Small but mighty, this lantern is built for adventure. Charge it up with USB-C before you head out or let the sun do the work when you're off-grid. Whether you're signaling for help, setting up camp, or just enjoying the night, its versatile lighting modes keep you prepared for anything.

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our BioLite Luci inflatable solar lantern with emergency lights. So, folks, this is gonna be lightweight yet very compact. When it's inflated, like you can see here today, it's about four inches across by about four inches tall, and it is solar powered. Now, you do have an optional plug here that you could plug in to charge it if you so choose as well.
Now this is inflatable. It's IP67 rated, so it can handle the elements. It does give you emergency strobe or flashing white and red, and also an SLS setting for signaling to help. So I'm might go ahead and shut off the overhead lights here, and let's see if we can get this thing glowing. So, very simple.
It's got three LED lights inside, it looks like, and I simply tap the power button to change the intensity. And I apologize if the camera's trying to auto zoom here with these LEDs. So you do have the red strobe. Again, that's for your safety, and then they can do the SOS flash by itself as well. So you have all these different settings you can do.
Again, this is the BioLite Luci inflatable solar lantern with the emergency strobe. So I'm gonna go ahead and cycle it through everything here. And then I wanna show you just how compact this can get whenever you put it inside your pack or when you're not using it. So, very simply, you just gotta take off this inflation valve here at the bottom or pop it back up rather. And it's one of those that sits flush inside there, so you gotta give it a little tug.
And, as you can see, it's not deflating until you squeeze this, and that's gonna be that safety inflation or rather, you know, you gotta squeeze it to let air in or out. So it's gonna be very nice. And, as you can see, folds up or collapses to about an inch. So very nice, very small. This is the BioLite Luci emergency light. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
Awesome little gadget to use to provide a bit of ight for your tent, camper, cabin, etc.

I LOVE THE COLOR OPTIONS ON THIS THING. I was impressed by how lightweight and compact this lantern is. It’s solar and USB rechargeable, and gives off a soft, steady glow that’s great for reading or winding down. The inflatable design is clever easy to store and super packable. If you’re looking for something that fits right into your gear without taking up space, this is a great option.
Simple, efficient, and built for emergencies. This little solar lantern is lightweight and folds flat, so it’s easy to store anywhere. It gives off enough light for basic tasks and charges itself during the day. It also has a SOS feature that signals for help. Great for tossing in a backpack or glove box. If your car breaks down in a remote area or your phone dies, using an SOS beacon from your lantern can make your location visible to passing cars or rescue crews. This would also be good for hikers that like to hike in remote areas alone.
