You know those old-school lanterns that slap your backside with every step? Yeah, this isn't that. Lightweight and collapsible, it tucks neatly in your pack, ready to shine when darkness falls or keep your devices powered wherever life takes you.
For adventurers who count every ounce, this lantern is a pack-friendly win. Lighter than your energy bar stash, it won't tip the scales or take up precious space, leaving more room for essentials (or that extra chocolate bar). Trek further, pack smarter, and keep your campsite glowing without the weight slowing you down.
Out in the backcountry, power outlets are scarce, but the sun is always on duty. Charge up at home with USB-C or rely on solar power to keep the lantern ready for the next adventure. The built-in power bank also keeps small devices running, so the night shots, maps, and campfire reads don't have to end early. However far the trail leads, there's energy to match your journey.
Whether you're deep in a late-night strategy game or settling in with a book, this lantern keeps up. Run it on high for six hours of bright light, or switch to low for a steady, 110-hour beam that lasts through the night, and even the next few nights. Its matte finish ensures warm, diffused glow, bright enough to see, yet easy on the eyes so you're never left fumbling in the dark.
Your gear should keep up with you, not the other way around. This lantern collapses to a slim inch and a half, so it fits almost anywhere, and it's IP67 rating means it handles rain, dust, and accidental drops like a champ.
Sometimes you need a gentle glow to set the mood, sometimes you need full brightness to light up the night, and sometimes you need a strobe function. Maybe it's for an impromptu dance party under the stars, or maybe (and more likely) it's to signal for help if you're lost or in trouble. Either way, this lantern has the setting to match, whether you're grooving in the wilderness or guiding rescue your way.

Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this BioLite Lucy charge. It's a 360 degree viewable inflationable solar lantern and device charger with its onboard 4,000 milliamp hour bank. Now you can charge your devices multiple times with this included power bank. It does have a sealable USB port and the mini port there as well.
So there's two of 'em there. Well, you can see that on the camera there, but you do have an included cord with it as well. As you can see, it is inflatable as I mentioned, you've got the inflation port on the bottom. You got a little tab here where you could secure it if you need to. And you have one up top that you can unbutton and then you can rebutton it and make it a little bit taller as far as the loop itself, so you can then hang it or do whatever as far as that goes.
So I'm gonna go ahead and put that back on the short side. So you've got a couple options here. I can hit the button here and turn the lights on inside. And you do have a couple different settings, low, medium, and very high. And then you have a flashing or strobe, depending on how you wanna word it, I will shut off the overhead lights.
I wanna see if we can get a better look. I do apologize for the lines you're seeing and everything. That is just my camera trying to adjust here with the LEDs. So let's see if we can zoom out and see a little better. So again, low, medium, and high.
As you can see, super bright, if I hold this up, head level, it lights up the space below it. So very bright inside of a tent or maybe a workspace, something like that. It is a very nice light and it gives you 110 hours of soft glow on low and you can crank it up to high like I have for five hours of intense lighting. Now inflated like you see here, it is six inches tall overall in a height and five and 3/8 inch diameter wide. Now when it's time to pack it up, when you're done using it, you simply squeeze the inflation ports, let the air back out (air hisses) and just gently press until all the air's out. And now it's compact about an inch and a half wide or thick, however you wanna describe it. And very simple to put in a pack or something and continue on your way. It is IP67 rated so it can handle the elements outside and inside alike. Well folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our quick look together. I'm Steven, thanks for watching. And as always, please send us some photos of it in use. We'd love to see how you're using it. Tell us about it as well. Have a good one.
This lantern BL35MR has such a clever design. It inflates to spread the light, charges via solar or USB, and can also charge your phone. I really like how soft and even the light is not too bright, just comfortable. Perfect for off-grid setups or as an emergency light in the car or home.
Perfect item for remote camping or even using on the back patio. Will give it a go in Alaska soon, but expect it to perform well as to previous use of the Original.
