Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Today on our 2016 Ford Escape, we'll be taking a look at the Weather Tech front floor mats in black. Pat number WT444591. They're also available in tan, part number WT454591 and in grey, part number WT 464591. Here we've got our driver's side installed. As you can see, we have a lot of features of this mat. To start off, you'll see our channels here at the bottom.
This is going to keep a lot of the dirt and debris off of your feet and off of your carpet. We also have our 2 mounting points here that push down and lock onto your mounting points that are on your carpet. The Weather Tech mats also contour to our vehicle to keep liquid and debris off of our carpet. These mats also reach up under our gas and break pedals to give maximum protection under our dash and are made out of a plastic core with a rubberized outer shell. Our passenger side floor mat has many of the same features as our driver's side such as the channels down at the bottom and it contours to our vehicle. The Weather Tech mats are quick and easy to clean.
Just remove them, wash with soap and water, rinse with water and either air dry or towel dry. That's going to complete our look at the Weather Tech front floor mats in black, part number WT444591 in our 2016 Ford Escape.
