Features to know about

Stable Handling on Long Trips: Frame-Mounted Security

These front tie-downs mount directly to your truck’s frame—the strongest part of the vehicle—for a rock-solid connection that keeps your camper steady even on long hauls. By anchoring to the frame, they distribute the camper’s weight evenly and lower its center of gravity. That means no top-heavy sway or shifting when crosswinds hit, and your truck handles just like it does without a camper.

Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Tie-Downs

Each set is built for a custom fit and bolts into pre-existing holes in the frame, so there’s little to no drilling or modification needed. The tight frame mount also keeps ground clearance nearly unchanged, making it easy to drive off-road or over uneven ground without worrying about dragging hardware underneath.

Keep Your Truck Looking Clean: Removable Arms

When you’re not hauling a camper, the tie-down arms slide out of the brackets, leaving only low-profile mounts tucked under the body. With the arms removed, you’ll hardly notice anything’s there—so your truck keeps its clean look without bulky metal hanging off the sides.

Built Tough: Black Powder-Coated Steel

Made of heavy-duty steel with a durable black powder coat, these tie-downs are built to hold up through rough conditions and resist corrosion over time. The finish helps protect against chips, salt, and road debris so your setup stays strong and looks sharp season after season.

Secure, Adjustable Connection: Dual Anchor Holes

Each tie-down arm has two pin holes that let you extend it as needed to clear sidewalls or fenders. The dual anchor holes give you flexible setup options for your turnbuckles (sold separately), helping you find the best angle for a snug, stable hold that keeps your camper locked down mile after mile.

The front mounts installed relatively easily with no drilling or modification. Instructions were ok, i recommend doing the passenger side first, as it has no gas tank in the wayand you will get the idea of the mount and order of tightening. I had to use double washers(provided) on the replacement bed bolt provided to make it work properly. The mounts themselves are solid and well made. Roughly .120 wall tubing. I sprayed cold galvanizing paint inside the tubes to prevent corrosion. etrailer’s service and shipping were top notch and fast. Total install about 4 hours, but I work slowly and take my time.

These tiedowns were great. They fit my 2023 ford f350 4wd crew cab perfectly. They bolted on using existing holes and they included wire feeders to feed the bolts through all the holes. Everything was included in the kit and installation was pretty simple. Probably took an hour or so. Directions were very good and easy to follow. They hold my camper down very securely and are adjustable for various widths. Also easy to drill different hokes for custom widths. I highly recommend this tie down for this model truck.

This is the third set, third vehicle, I have installed these camper tie-downs on. Once you are used to torklift instructions/ pictures the installation is not that hard ( even for me at 74 years old). The torklift product itself is well made and works great.

Great… works great and very satisfied

by:

The product works great. Quite a bit of work to install but once they are on, all is well.

by:

Well I was not impressed with the paint work.

Very poor paint work.

Most people know that when you paint metal . You first must use primer on the metal before you apply final paint. Its not rocket science. Its obvious no primer was applied . The paint has pilled off in many areas exposing the bare metal, no primer and even a little rust.

This demonstrates proof in lack of pride in workmanship within your company. It show the ( I don't care about quality attitude.)

Now I will have to sandblast these parts myself , Prime with epoxy primer and paint again.

I can only assume that now that you have my money . Who really cares.

Would I recommend
this product and your company
online ???

I reached out to Torklift and the ties downs are meant to be powder coated. I will have our customer service team reach out to you.

by:

Great dealing with them and fast shipping not to mention easy installation.

by:

it's been over a year and I'm very happy with this setup. It can be a challenge running the bolts with the enclosed wire tool, but other than that pretty straight forward install for the average truck owner. watch a u-tube video for install tips. It will save you time.

by:

Easy to follow install instructions and able to 1 man install the kit. Took about 1 hour to install and once complete felt very secure, With help of rear supports as well it helped secure the cabover to truck for a more even load.

by:

Overall seems OK. I haven't used it yet. The thru holes on one of the arms were not drilled. I had to do it myself. And the lock nuts they gave to replace the factory nuts used on the leaf spring bolts were the wrong thread size. I used locktite and the factory nut.

by:

I think they are a little pricey but not aware of any better alternative for the F 150 with aluminum bed. Hats off to the engineers that design the hold downs. Install took about 2 hrs. Instructions were excellent and easy to follow. Great customer service from etrailer on the order.

by:

Quick, accurate purchase. Product installation is easy and straightforward!

by:

I purchased the front and rear frame mounted tie-downs for my 2017 F-150. The whole installation took 3 or 4 hours. I don't work very fast. The tie downs solved several problems I had with anchoring my truck/camper. The tie-downs that came with the camper were just not adequate and forced the camper to sit higher in the bed of the truck. Not enough length for chains and shackles. These ties-downs sit low and if used with the TorkLift turnbuckles makes for a clean, solid and functional installation. My only issue is that one of the turnbuckles passes right in front of the gas filler cap. I purchased TorkLift FastGuns for the font so that it made for easy removal when I am filling up at the gas station. This isn't a TorkLift problem, it is just the way the everything ties down. I also like the way the tie-down extensions can be removed when not in use. I would not hesitate to purchase these products again if I was installing another truck/camper. Great product.

Product came promptly, however, part of the tie-down was sticking out through the box when delivered. Stronger packaging is suggested. Everything fit well and instructions were quite handy, making much of the otherwise difficult installation easier. There was mention of possible alteration of the emergency brake cable support if it was a manual system. Extra parts were even included if needed. However, on a 2025, 5.5' F-150, nothing was said about a main exhaust support being in the way of the passenger side's installation. The tie-downs are now installed but I'm still trying to figure out how to re-install the muffler support.

Hi Jim! I can see why that would be frustrating for sure. The good news is you usually don’t have to do anything drasticmost fixes come down to slightly repositioning the exhaust system rather than fully relocating it. That can mean loosening and adjusting a bolt-on hanger, adding a small spacer, or even tweaking the hanger position just enough to create some clearance. I’ll drop this article here since it walks through a few simple ways to fix it step-by-step, but overall you’re on the right track it’s typically just a matter of giving the exhaust a little more room so nothing is rubbing or under tension. This help article is about a hitch install but it still applies here.
