These frame-mounted tie-downs keep your camper solid and steady no matter how far you roam. Because they mount directly to the truck’s frame—the strongest part of the vehicle—they spread the camper’s weight evenly and keep the center of gravity low. That means a smoother ride with less sway or shifting, even when crosswinds hit or the road gets rough.
The TorkLift Talon tie-downs use pre-existing holes in the frame, so setup is straightforward and clean. There’s little to no drilling and no cutting needed, keeping your truck’s frame intact. Once installed, the brackets sit tight to the frame for minimal loss of ground clearance, so you won’t catch or drag them while driving off-road or over uneven ground.
Strength meets light weight with military-grade aluminum alloy arms and stainless steel receiver brackets. Both are finished with a high-impact powder coat that shields against corrosion and wear in harsh weather or salty roads. The result is a rustproof, heavy-duty setup you can count on season after season.
When the trip’s over, remove the tie-down arms and the brackets are nearly invisible beneath the truck. The low-profile design keeps your truck looking clean and uncluttered, ready for everyday driving until it’s time to load the camper again.

Each arm offers two pin holes for extension and two anchor holes for fine-tuning your turnbuckle angle. This makes it easy to clear fenders or sidewalls while keeping a solid grip on your camper. The setup stays snug from multiple angles, so your camper rides secure mile after mile.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today we're going to take a look at these forklift talent custom frame mounted aluminum front camper tie downs. These tie downs provide attachment points at the front of your truck bed for securing a bed mounted camper. Now these are going to fit various versions of the 1999 to 2010 Ford F250, F350, and F450 Super Duty. To confirm that these are going to fit your truck, take advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com and input the year, make, and model of your truck and our website, our fit guide at our website, will let you know if these tie downs will work for your truck, or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Now, the frame mounted design ensures excellent handling because securing your camper to your truck's base, instead of its bed, better distributes the weight to keep your setup from being too top heavy. The brackets fit tight to your truck's frame. So there's not going to be any loss of ground clearance and the rust-proof and lightweight aluminum alloy tie downs are going to insert to these durable stainless steel receiver brackets. Now these inserts can be easily removed from these frame mounted brackets. I'm just going to go ahead and remove one of the bale pins here.
And as you can see, the insert slides right out. And again, being aluminum, it's very lightweight but very rugged, as well. So this is going to be very easy to take the inserts and maybe throw them in the rear of your truck cab and they can be there and ready to use when you next need them. But they're not going to be any trouble whatsoever to remove these. I do want to point out that this does come with vinyl caps that are included to cover the front of the receivers to keep out dirt and grime.
And also foam plugs that insert into the rear of the brackets to keep out dirt and grime, as well. So as you can see, you can remove the insert, put the cap on. It's going to keep the inside of that receiver clean. And these tie downs are going to be virtually undetectable when they are not in use. Now I do want to point out on the inserts, there are two different holes.
And if your camper is a little bit wider, you can just use this first hole on the insert to have the tie down stick out a little bit farther. If your camper is a little bit narrower, you can move it into this second hole. And that's what I'm going to do here, is just slide that all the way into the second hole, line up the holes here, run that bale pin through, and that is going to secure it in place. These bale pins, as I mentioned, are going to secure these inserts into the brackets, giving you a nice secure connection point for your turn buckles. The high impact powder-coated finish is going to add an extra layer of protection to the brackets and the inserts. And you're going to get everything that you see here on the table before me. You're going to get two front tie down inserts, the frame brackets, the necessary hardware for installation, along with instructions to guide you through step-by-step on the installation process. Now, again, these are front camper tie downs. The rear ones are sold separately. But if you are in need of the rear ones, as well, just go through our fit guide here at etrailer.com to find the ones that will fit your truck. These are made in the USA and they do have a lifetime warranty. Well, that's going to conclude our look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

I wanted to touch base with you in regard to the Torklift tie downs. Have you heard back from Torklift? May I ask what type of hitch you have on the truck? What type of cab do you have? Is it an 8 foot bed? Do you have running boards that extend past the cab?

I have made about six trips this year and the Torklift truck camper tie down system has worked great. It is the only truck camper unit I would recommend.

Tie downs are still installed on my 2022 GMC and are working well in holding my camper in place.
