Features to know about

Stable Handling on Long Trips: Frame-Mounted Tie-Downs

These front tie-downs mount right to the truck’s frame—the strongest part of the whole structure—so your camper stays steady even when the miles stack up. By securing to the frame instead of the bed or bumper, the setup keeps your camper’s center of gravity low and distributes weight evenly across the truck. That means less sway in crosswinds and better control on rough or winding roads.

Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Mounts

Each tie-down bolts into pre-existing holes in the frame, so there’s little to no drilling and no cutting required. The brackets mount tight and high for minimal loss of ground clearance. Because the fit is custom, it locks into place cleanly and works with your existing setup without extra fabrication or welding.

Clean Look When Unloaded: Removable Arms

When the camper’s off, just remove the arms from their brackets and you’ll hardly notice anything’s there. The low-profile brackets stay tucked beneath the truck, keeping a neat, factory look instead of hardware hanging below the body.

Built Tough: Powder-Coated Steel Construction

Each tie-down is made from black powder-coated steel to resist rust and corrosion through rain, snow, or salt exposure. The outer tube measures 2" square with a 3/16" wall, while the inner arm is 1-1/2" square with a 3/16" wall and a 1/4"-thick tie point—serious strength you can count on trip after trip.

Secure Connection Options: Adjustable Anchor Points

Two pin holes in each arm let you adjust how far they extend to clear fenders or sidewalls, while two anchor holes on each plate help you set the best hold angle for your camper’s turnbuckles. Once tightened to proper tension, the camper stays firmly in place with solid support from multiple directions.

good the camper hasnt slid off the truck yet

by:

Easy to install works well with my 95’ lance 11.5’ camper I also bought the turnbuckles

by:

What I love most about the torklift product is that you really don't know they are there until you need them. When in use my camper feels really secure to the truck. Great product, thanks etailer for your great customer service.

by:

I take my 4000 lb camper off road frequently and this hardware is strong enough to handle it. Very pleased with its performance. The ability to remove the brackets by pulling a pin out is another benefit.

by:

Exactly what we wanted. Installation was pretty easy for me, a 70's year old, and my wife provided her skillful assistance. We got about eight thousand miles on our damper last year.

Still working great for us. Last year was tough with Covid and other things to limit our travels. We did still get quite a bit done and look forward to the coming travel season this year. Tie downs are on the truck and ready to go.

by:

Thank You ‘! Its the right one’s !! It’s a little tricky around the fuel tank but patience is good’!!

Etrailer delivery was great. The torklift product F2011 on my 2010 F250 went along very easy, for a mildly experienced homeowner. One issue on the product. The 5/8 Hook Brackets that attach the device to the frame. I needed to use a metal file at a weld point so the 1/2 inch bolt would pass through. Torklift quality control really should have caught this issue. No big deal to correct with a metal file. May have held me up 5 minutes. Another issue with the product I found several pinpoint areas on the standard bent inserts that if left would break the skin. A tap with a wrench which was handy knocked them down. Just a finish issue. Looking forward to my Truck Camper in a couple of months when my custom built will be complete. On the bright side of the Torklift F2011 it went on with none of the problems seen on youtube. No fishing for bolts. Maybe it is just the 2010 Ford F250 build that fit well but made all the difference.

by:

TLF2011 fit my 1999 f-250 SD. Solid made steel. Bolts to frame for the most secure camper tie down available. Search UTube videos are best way to get in that one bugger of a bolt! Suggest getting the spring tension devices to prevent ripping out camper attachment points if camper sways suddenly due to uneven road or strong wind.

by:

Nicole at etrailer was sharp and the products - 5 stars for her

The Torklift instruction pictures are poor - look like they have been copied 100 times.
Front brackets were fairly straight forward - but had to remove a skid plate and loosen the fuel tank to install the drivers side.
Rear brackets needed to drill holes. T L should provide a drill template.

Haven’t used with the camper yet.

by:

I bought my first set of torklift camper tiedowns 15 years ago. I am sure glad I did. I'm doing it again on another vehicle. They make traveling with a camper safe and secure. Also, they are not difficult to install. Delivery from etrailer was smooth and on time !

by:

I got the front and rear TorkLift camper mounts for my 2001 f350 crew cab. With the factory tow hitch. They work perfectly fit is perfect both the front and rear bolted right on and were easy to install. Directions are very clear and love that they have some pictures too. I would one hundred percent recommend to anyone with this style truck. One thing that is a little tough to install is the lower left bolt on driver side next to gas tank. In directions it says to use feed wire to feed bolt in from bottom and into place. I found it was better to pull it from over the top of the frame and back down to the hole. You will still need to push a little on the gas tank but it works better from top down. It looks like there are some vent tubes or break lines in there between the hole and the gas tank so going from top gets it past them into place without a problem. Patients helps to lol. Thanks again TorkLift and Etrailer for another great product!!

by:

The TorkLift Products need no review here, so my review is more in regard to etrailer's customer service...

I was in a hurry getting my rig set up for our new camper that was due to land at the dealer very soon.

So I purchased a complete set of TorkLift Tiedown mounts, both Front a Rear for my vehicle, along with a 4-pack of FastGun Turnbuckles.

The order was on hold due to the rear Torklifts on B/O and waiting for a production run to complete.

I spoke with Teresa in sales, and she had no problem splitting up the order and shipping what was in stock, right away.
She also issued a refund on the rear mounts that were on Backorder without any issues....Thank you Teresa!

The Expediting was quick and flawless as well.

Thank you etrailer team!

by:

Fast delivery. Videos and photos helped tremendously on installation and determining if this was the product we needed. Product is sturdy and well built.

by:

The passenger side went on without a hitch. The driver's side had an issue where I had to make one hole 1/2" wider for it to fit. Did get it on and it looks promising.

by:

They do exactly what you think they'd do. I actually had to swap them from one truck to another (went from an double cab to a crew cab) and TorkLift actually sent me a whole new hardware kit. The hardest part is fishing the bolt/nut setup on the driver's side as the gas can is in the way, other than that it's easy peasy.

No complaints, rock solid design. We leave the camper on for over half the year these tie downs are the least of my worries.

by:

Recently made the decision to purchase a TC. With some suggestions from the dealer and some research on line, I purchased these tie downs. I called to speak to someone directly just to confirm I had the right part number for my application. Jesse was very helpful and watched the order to make sure it successfully shipped and arrived. They seem well made and instructions were easy to follow. Now all I need to do is pick up the TC!

Excellent product.
Excellent customer
service!

by:

slight modification had to be made but turned out be just fine though for the money spent no modifications should had to be made

by:

I just installed them and they are heavy duty and very easy to install. Everything was as advertised.

by:

Fit as advertised, relatively easy to install. Excellent step by step instructions. No bad glitches !
Overall excellent quality & great finish.

by:

With a little modification. I was able to install in my F-250 1999 super duty, thanks!

by:

Bought front& back frame mount tie-downs & fast guns, love this setup. Not hard to install, all holes lined up, no drilling, especially like the spring wire that helps you install the bolt in the frame rail by the fuel tank. Good job etrailer for getting me the right parts

by:

The ribs that were welded down the center were off-line by about a quarter inch and required some copious filing to get them to fit

by:

Very poor instruction manual...

The
photos are very small with poor dark images and contrast. Also, the names of the nuts, bolts, and other items should have photos of each item with the description and name of that item in each photo.

It appears that you don't want to help the customer install it on his own.

The tie downs are well made and strong.

I will give you more feedback when I get deeper into the installation...

  • Is The B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver Compatible With TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs
Hey Greg, The rear tie-downs for the TorkLift Tie Downs # TL93VV slide into the crosstube of the trailer hitch to mount. With the B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver # BWHDRH25230's crosstube angling back there's a chance that the tie-downs would hit the exhaust or other components under the vehicle. Since these haven't been tested together yet I recommend going with TorkLift's aftermarket trailer hitch tie-down # TLR3500 instead. This is going to mount to the side of the # BWHDRH25230's...

The part of the inner tube that you tie the camper off to is 1/4 inch thick. The outer tube is larger at 2 inches square...

Rather than trying to pull the bolt, star washer and plate washer through the frame as one unit, attach the bolt to the fish wire, then slip the plate washer and star washer on the fish wire, but don't slide them all the way down through so they're on the bolt. Fish the wire through to the other side of the frame, and use a flat blade screwdriver to push the star washer into place, then the plate...
