Ratchet straps have built-in shock absorbers so that they stay tight and secure around your motorcycle or ATV, even on rough roads. Soft, rubber-coated S-hooks won't scratch your truck bed or trailer. 1,500-lb Max load.

Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.
This tie-down kit includes 4 ratchet straps that are perfect for strapping down your motorcycle, dirt bike, ATV, or heavy-duty construction or farming gear to your truck bed or trailer. Commercial-grade, field-replaceable ratchets make it simple to tighten down each strap. To release the ratchet, you can grab the oversized handle and easily pull on the release lever, even if you're wearing gloves, as the release lever is on the outside of the ratchet.
Unlike traditional straps, which don't stretch or contract, these tie-downs have built-in, urethane shock absorbers that maintain constant tension on your bike so you won't have to stop and tighten them while traveling. These shocks are designed to absorb the impact of traveling on rough roads and allow give to ensure the straps won't loosen over time, which could result in lost or damaged gear. They also ensure a longer life for the strap webbing, as they make sure the tie-downs stay put and won't wear over the edges of your gear.
A safety strap is also built into each tie-down to provide peace of mind should something happen to the shock. This safety strap ensures that if the tie-downs are used improperly, overloaded, or unduly stretched, your bike or ATV will remain secured.

Hello neighbors, welcome back, I'm Steven here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look together at the ShockStrap ratchet tie-down straps with built-in shock absorbers. Now, these guys are one-inch wide by 10-feet long overall. They're also rated at 500 pounds safe working load limit or 1,500 pounds per strap maximum load break strength. They have a nice two-year warranty, and they're going to let you secure your motorcycle, dirt bike, ATV, lawn mower, whatever kind of gear you're trying to strap down safely in your truck bed or trailer, these guys will help get that done for you. Now, zooming in here, you can see they got these heavy-duty shock absorbers built into the strap, and them guys can take a lot of abuse, I can bend it both ways.
And that shock absorbent impact is going to give you a constant strap tension, and if your cargo ever shifts, it's still going to keep tension on there for you as well. It's made of a nice urethane-based material. Stands up amazing to salt water, oil, fungus, and most chemicals that are out there. The ratcheting mechanism itself with the included S-hook is a nice heavy-duty steel hardware. It has a yellow zinc chromate coating that you see there.
That's going to be corrosion-resistant. All these are DOT-approved and made here in the USA. It's got a spring-loaded pull tab here to release the tension, and the black plastic cover that metal to make it easier for you to pull and use. So very ergonomic-friendly. Talking about the S-hooks here, they got a spring-loaded clip, that helps keep everything hung on there whenever you're trying to strap stuff down.
And as you can see, they're rubber-coated on the top of the hooks. That helps prevent scratches, scuffs on your gear, your truck trailer itself, all that kind of stuff. Now, the webbing itself is a very nice, durable polyester webbing. It's got a UV-resistant chemical compound over it that's going to withstand abrasions and water absorption as well. So it's not going to retain water like some other straps out there do.
Well, folks, that's going to wrap it up for a look at the ShockStrap ratchet tie-down straps. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.

I have a Polaris Ranger I trailer over a very rough road several times a year. Normal straps Have never been able to hold and always become loose requiring additional tightening several times during the journey. I purchased four ShockStraps and they work great. They allow the Ranger to move slightly which reduces the bounce of the trailer on rough dirt roads. Also, I have peace of mind on the freeway that the straps will stay tight. I have been using them about a year and recommend them highly.
The ShockStraps are amazing! They stay where you put them. We use them primarily for securing our UTVs to the trailer when traveling back and forth to our hunting camp 3 hours away. Prior to finding the ShockStraps, we would normally have to stop 2 or 3 times each way to resecure the ratchet straps, even if we wrapped electrical tape around the hooks and trailer rails. Would definitely recommend without reservation.
Best tie downs I ever had. Never felt comfortable hauling my full size Ktm, my dirt bikes or Atv’s long distances until I got these. Build quality is outstanding and if you take care of them, they are probably the last tie downs you’ll ever buy. The rubber shock absorbers really work well, especially on dirt roads. For peace-of-mind when hauling, you need these. Spend the money once- all those cheap straps that last only a year or two add up.
When it comes to hauling a UTV on an open trailer, there is simply nothing better than these ShockStraps. They don't come loose and they maintain tension. My favorite feature is being able to loop the strap around something and hook it to itself. This is so much more secure than typical cheap tie down straps. I also use these to fasten my fishing kayak to my kayak trailer. For that I need to stick a rag under the metal ratchet but that's no big deal considering how well it holds my kayak in place.
Great straps. Bery strong and I like the shock. I think customers that do a lot of shopping with etrailer should be given a discount on their next purchase!
Loved these straps. Kept UTV more stable on trailer with no need (for first time ever) to retighten straps during our trip.
These shock straps are great for hauling our ATV. We had been using just regular ratchet straps and had to stop several times to tighten them back up, but with these shock straps, they stay tight the whole trip! They are truly wonderful!
Looks like an excellent product from all the reviews and highly recommended by Dirt Trax TV. Delivery was good although it was one day late but not e-trailers fault. The tracking was excellent. I could see where my package was at any moment. Will post more once I actually use the product.
Like everyone else I would go through the efforts of strapping down a utv only to see my ratchet straps hanging off the trailer as I look at my review mirror 10 minutes into my trip. Never again! Used these on a 200 mile round trip down all kinds of roads (freeway, country roads, dirt roads, etc) and never had to adjust or tighten them. A must have.
Heavy duty straps straped my utv down made a 2 hour trip they stayed tight just like they advertise had good promt service with etrailer they are more expensive than some other straps but very much worth it
I was looking for tie down straps to haul my ATV as well as my garden tractor. The standard straps were okay but did seem to loosen up after traveling for awhile. So I took a chance on these ones based on the details one etrailer as well as reviews. I have not been disappointed. They worked as described and do not loosen in transit. I would definitely purchase again.
Straps are very heavy duty and durable. I'm using them to strap down a 4 seat side x side, compressing the suspension. Having the additional strap that loops around the tie-down point is very nice, much easier on paint and equipment. High quality product.
The only issue is I should've ordered the smaller strap, as this one is so big, the shock absorbing system doesn't really flex when ratcheting down against the suspension. Works great when strapping against something solid like a tractor.
I use these to tie down Honda Rancher ATVs, I took out the rubber shock as it's useless(too stiff) for the weight of the ATV and provides no shock motion. The strap itself is unbeatable. Heavy duty, with the loop and latching hook that make this strap a super safe option. The strap and hook WILL NOT come off going down a rough road, due to the safety mechanisms. Well worth the price if you want long lasting AND safety as peace of mind.
Picked up product at our gate this morning. Probably delivered last night, Oct 25, as promised. Showed up just in time. They are excellent quality and have good hook and sling options to tie down anything we are going to trailer. We will be using them next week to trailer our folks Polaris Razor from Az White Mountains to Tucson area. Will also be using to trailer our compact backhoe/front end loader to White Mountains and friends around area. Been using chains and ratchet boomers and before that other ratchet cloth tie downs. All have to be checked and sometimes reset at every stop.
Awesome product, performs better than I expected. Super strong and built well. Well worth the money invested.
Does what [it said] it would.
These tie down straps are the best! Trailered my Harley long distances with no issues. Feel very secure using these. 100% recommend!
These straps are great. The are strong and allow for some movement of the motorcycles without have the straps break or come loose. The Harley was transported to Las Vegas and back, 2500 miles with no issues.
They work great so far so good
I have purchased 3 sets of tie downs for securing our side by side, now I only use the ShockStraps! They are excellent!
These straps are hands down the best tie downs I have ever had! I am likely going to purchase another set for my trailer. I use them to hold my ATV on my Diamondback truck cover. Very Solid even on long trips. I highly recommend them!
Once ratcheted down, they do not come loose bouncing down the road.
The product performed as it was advertised. The straps were well constructed and it was obvious a great deal of thought went into the design. I shoot sporting clay targets and haul a John Deere Gator 825 XUV to events, as a means of transportation around the course. Roads traveling to and from events, often, are gravel or dirt. This can and does create rough road surfaces to pull trailers and XUVs on. I used the Shock Straps this past week and watched to Gator as I drove on some rough terrain. The Gator did not move or sway during the trip. When I got to my destination, the straps were as tight as when I left for the trip. There was absolutely no play in the straps. Previously, I was always adjusting the straps and the XUV would rock and bounce on rough terrain. No any more.
The straps were simple and comforting to know they kept the bike safe. I probably over did it, but better more than less.
