Hey, neighbors, Kevin here with etrailer. And today we have our friend, Russ, from TowSmart Customs here to talk about their cargo management systems. Yeah, so our other brand is CargoSmart, and we have some innovation there as well. All the accessories, all your straps, but the innovation lies in our track. Everybody's familiar with E-Track. We do something different.
We do X-Track. This way the neighbor can pull both ways and still have that same weight capacity of 2,000 pounds. So with those kits, is there a standard size for the trailer and for the shed that we should be looking for, or do you have multiple that can kind of fit a variety of sizes Sure. I'll give you a quick lowdown. So, so the most popular shed size in the world is 10-by-16.
So our ultimate shed comes with enough track to cover the entire inside of your shed. J-hooks, small hooks, and eight extended arms for all your storage needs. The most popular trailer size is 12-by-6. This would include enough track to cover the whole inside of your trailer, along with two single pieces that you can use for tie downs, and also along with two sets of straps so you can strap down all of your needs in your trailer along with some board holders. So since most people don't really know exactly what they're gonna need right off the bat, typically it's gonna be the, "Hey, I think I need this.
I need so many feet to E-Track, or in your case, X-Track, and then maybe I need this accessory, maybe I need a different one." And then we're kind of back and forth playing with it. But it sounds like you guys kind of narrowed it down to just the base, "Here's a good starting point to go with. And then afterwards, you have all the accessories you can add on, if you still need something else." But it sounds like innovation didn't end with just the X-Track. It also carried over to the SmartStraps as well. Could you tell me a little bit more about these Yeah, I'd be happy to.
We are actually the inventor of the retractable strap. So something that we're very proud of. We've had that for many years. On our standard straps, we have three different levels. We have our Ratchet X, our Carbon X, and our Tactical. A couple things you'll notice about these is we do have these little yellow washers in here. That is called Zerust. What that does is it emits an odorless molecule that attaches to the metal, does not allow water to attach to the metal, prevents rust and corrosion, which everybody knows is very important with your straps. We also use two times the teeth of any of our competitor. That way you have a very precise load. What would you recommend specifically for the newbie, and then what would you recommend for the person that's gonna be hauling all the time and needing to use these day in and day out Sure, Kevin. Well, to start off, all of our straps are excellent. But if I was the guy that needed a strap, maybe one or two times a year for a move, the entry level would be great. Still comes with some beautiful padded handles and two times the teeth. But if I'm a user that needs straps on a weekly basis or even daily, I would tend to go for our Tactical, just the ease of use. And along with adding that Zerust so you get some extended life on your product. So it sounds like whether you are hauling something around on your trailer or you're just trying to store some stuff in your shed, or maybe even the garage, that you guys have really stepped it up with the innovation of not only the X-Track, but also your variety of straps. Can't mention enough about that Z-coating that we have right here just to kind of help so that it's not rusting out because that is the number one killer here for straps. So I wanna really thank you for your time and going through all your products, and just really breaking it down and explaining all for us. If you guys still have any questions about cargo management, what might be the right fit for you, what you might need, or if you're interested in those kits for either your shed or your trailer, then please feel free to reach out to us via our ask the experts link, a comment on this video, or phone call to our customer service department.
