Video Transcript for Complete Breakdown of the CargoSmart X Track Cargo Storage Starter Bundle

Randy: Hey guys. It's Randy here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the CargoSmart Storage Bundle. And this is an excellent setup, it was actually inspired by one of our cameraman here. He used basically this setup in his garage at home, and he said it really changed the way he was able to organize everything in there. Organization is a big deal.

Keeping your stuff up and off the floor so it doesn't get the cobwebs, the dirt and all that kind of stuff on it, I really like. But also freeing up a lot of space if we don't have these brooms laying around or these extension cords kind of laying on the floor. Gives us a lot more open space to enjoy our trailer or use it for what it's meant for.The kit is going to come with, basically, two 60 inch pieces of the X-Track. Now, the biggest advantage to the X-track that you see over the older E-Track style, is you can see it allows us to attach accessories, both horizontally and vertically. With the E-Track, you pretty much have to pick which way you want it so I really like that option.

It allows us a lot more versatility there, and the rest of it is all going to be different types of hooks. You see a nice durable gray powder coat finish, and then a rubberized coating on the hook as it comes out. And, of course, all the accessories are going to use the standard E-Track or X-Track connections so you just pull in, slide it in, slide it up, rotate it down, and then just allow it to slide down.Now, the kit has two of those in it. We're also going to have three of the larger double hooks. Now, these are excellent for tool storage, brooms, shovels, even ladders, using two of them in conjunction with each other to put your ladder up there.

They work out really well for it. You can see it's pretty easy to get your item kind of loaded up and in there. Again, three of those are going to come and then we've got our double hook with the closed end. This one is a little bit more compact, again with the rubber coating, the nice powder coat finish. This is going to be for a lot of extension cords and things.

We've got a couple hanging down here. We've got an airline and an extension cord hanging on it. But also for your closed handled tools that are a little bit shorter or maybe, in this case, our shovel is too long. It hits our trailer when we try to get it in that way. But we can very easily stick it on just like that. And plenty of room there for at least three handles to fit on.Overall, I think this is going to be an excellent solution for any of your organization or storage needs. Helps get everything up off the floor and out of your way so you can do what you need to do.Now, as far as the installation process goes, just want to pick the appropriate area where you think it's going to be most handy for you. In our enclosed trailer, we're going to use our bolts here as a guide so we know right where the main braces are for the trailer. We're going to use some self-tappers to go into that. If you're going to be doing this in your house or your garage, something like that, just want to make sure you're using some wood screws and getting it into the studs. That's going to give you the maximum capacity out of it. Now, I'll just start and make sure we get them right in fully.Then to finish it up here on the enclosed trailer, I'm going to use wood screws every other hole, pretty much the whole way through it, just to give us some good integrity. Going into the thicker plywood here, that will help us out.At this point, once you've got them both installed, it's just time to start putting your hooks in where you want them. I think that's one of the greatest features about this is that it's completely adaptable to any changing needs that you might have. Down the road, if we want to move this somewhere else, just unclick it, move it, and we can position our stuff exactly where we want.And overall, guys, I think you're really going to like this system for your storage, your organization. This is an excellent starter kit for you. Gets you the X-Track. Now, CargoSmart makes tons of different accessories to add onto this. If you decide to, if you have additional needs, they make nice bins that you can store a lot of stuff in or baskets. They've got board holders so you could mount these across from each other and make a shelf. Fold down tables are an option, so just tons of different accessories and things that you can do with this to make it your own. Overall, I think you're really going to enjoy the way it works and all the options you'll have to make it very customized for your situation.
