Specs:
Note: Winch straps should always be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The item being towed must not exceed the WLL of the strap being used. To determine the maximum load, or break strength, of the tow strap, simply multiply the WLL by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load.

Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the Boat Buckle winch strap. This heavy duty strap works with a hand winch, enabling you to safely load and unload your boat from the trailer. It features a zinc-plated steel-forged snap hook. This attaches to the attachment point at boat's bow. It's very strong and durable and it's designed to resist rust and corrosion. It has the built-in spring-loaded keeper, which prevents the hook from accidentally disconnecting.
Then on the other end of the strap we have the loop end. This attaches to the winch drum with the included bolt and lock nut. Now the strap itself measures 2" wide and it's available in two different lengths at etrailer.com, 15 foot and 20 foot lengths. The maximum load strength or break strength is 4,000 pounds. The safe working load limit is 1,333 pounds.
The strap itself has really nice stitching on it. It's made from a seat belt-like quality. It's very strong and durable.A few measurements I want to mention for you real quick. I took a measurement from the bottom of the bolt head to the very end of the threads. You got a measurement of 2-3/4".
From the bottom of the bolt head to the first thread measures 2". This bolt has a 1/4" diameter to it. Please keep in mind that winch straps should always be chosen to their safe working load limit, so the item being towed must not exceed the working load limit of the strap being used. That's going to do it for today's look at the Boat Buckle winch strap.
