Question:

I have a 2017 Honda HRV . I’m looking to install a trailer hitch with 2” receiver, only to use for cargo carrier , 300 lb. Tung weighted if possible? Most cargo carriers come with 2” square steel tube which gives me more options to choose from. What are your recommendations? If you have what I’m looking for I’ll purchase if price is right ‘ Thank you Curtis

Well Curtis, we do have the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT84YR which I do see you already found for your 2017 Honda HR-V. This has the 2" opening and is rated up to 300lbs of tongue weight like you are looking for so it does meet your requirements.

I do recommend adding the 4-Way # 118673 when you install the receiver as you may need to add some Lights # 20174 to the Cargo Carrier # 63153.
