I bought this bumper to match the black one I had put on the front of my truck. It's a very good match and is just what I was looking for. The only reason I rated it a 4 and not a 5 is it said it was a perfect match and would bolt right on. While each of the frame rail brackets matched my original brackets, 1 hole on each side on the inside of the bumper was 1/2 a bolt width off. I ended up having to elongate those holes to get the brackets to bolt on.
This bumper was form, fit, function perfect. The quality and packaging were excellent. All the parts came with it and all were correct. etrailer's service was responsive and great. While the thing wasn't inexpensive, it was worth it.

The bumper is very close to OEM. It looked great in the original black but I made the mistake of painting it to match the original grey color. This was a mistake. The paint did not adhere well at all.

This fit my 96 Tacoma perfectly. Finish is nice, not overly glossy, looks just right for a bumper. Very heavy gauge steel, nice and solid, rated at 3,500 lbs tow cap. Had the old one off and the new one on in less than an hour, came with new hardware, frame mounting struts, even wiring and light bulbs for the tag lights. This is really an amazing deal, and I got free shipping, thanks!
Seriously good product for the price. Easy to install once I removed my old rusted out bumper. I had to take a grinder to the connection points on the truck as the rust but the bumper was built to spec. Thank you for helping me pass inspection!
The bumper installed correctly and looks just right on my 2001 Tacoma. After two New England winters, the bumper looks just like new. eTrailer was a pleasure to deal with - so when the time comes to match a replacement for the front bumper, I'll be back for more.
I ordered this bumper for a 2001 Toyota Tacoma that I had recently bought which was in good shape except for an ugly rear bumper. Installation was easy, replaced the bumper only, using the original brackets, and it was a perfect fit. It still looks good a year later with no problems. I also like the fact that it's powder coated instead of painted.
Great product, installed just like factory. But did have 1 dent in top under cover...
They aren’t kidding when they named this bumper the Perfect Match. It took me more time to unpack the bumper than installing it. :) the license plate light receptacles and mounting bars are identical to the Toyota ones. I no longer have a rusty, dented, bumper on my truck

Michael H. at Etrailer nailed it when he recommended this bumper for my 1999 Tacoma that had an after market Hidden Hitch installed on it. This bumper is a perfect fit, well constructed, and nice looking. I did not use the kit bumper brackets because the OEM brackets were in fine condition, so I figured why do needless extra work? Just remove four bolts, replace bumper, and tighten and that's it. I used blue Locktite on the bolts for good measure. Looks very nice. This is a one man job. Changing a tire is more involved. Trust me, you can do this.
