Hello everybody this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we take a look at this technique, 45 degree waterproof blue led boat accent light. Now this led light will provide a nice, bright blue light on your boat. It's great for upgrading or replacing your accent lighting step lighting, walkway, or even the underwater lighting. How this one is a 45 degree angle light. And the reason it is, is if you notice this bracket that's on underneath and when you mount it it's designed to shine the light downward at a 45 degree angle.

So it gives you a downward facing light to illuminate the area below it. It does use a sealed waterproof housing and lens unit has an IP 68 rating. It is a durable polycarbonate housing with a UV resistant lens, and it is a clear high clarity lens. Over three blue LEDs, that'll provide 180 degrees of linear lighting. The LEDs are premium LEDs, they're energy efficient, long lasting and vibration resistant.

And this light uses military grade construction of the circuit board, and it uses urethane potting, which offers better protection than the common epoxy potting. It is a surface mount installation. It is designed to mount using a protective 45 degree mowing cover that we do sell separately on our website and they are listed on this product page. He has a related product. Now the hardware is not included.

It will require two screws to install it. But again, if I turn this to the side, just want to show you that little piece put on the very bottom that allows it to map when you mount it to go down 45 degrees. Now this does hard wire to your application. The wire length is about seven inches and it is two wires, a power wire and a ground wire. How this is compatible with 12 volt DC systems.

I am going to hook this up to some power just to show you how bright it is. First I just want to do the dimensions for you. Length of it is two and one eight inches, the height five eights of an inch, and the depth of it five eighths of an inch. Light output 240 lumens. Input voltage nine volts to 14 volts, and the power draws only point one two, to point one four AMPS. So what we're going to do now gonna hook this up to some power into a ground. And once we get it all hooked up, we'll go ahead and turn the power on. And with the power on you'll be able to see the bright blue light. Go ahead and turn off the overhead and you can see how bright it is. Very bright, large surface gives off. What I am going to do, is we're going to go zoom out. Oops. There you go. Zoom out. So you see how bright it is and the area it covers. Very bright light. You can go ahead and zoom back in. Go ahead and turn over on the overhead lights.
