Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take look at this TecNiq surface mount white LED bimini accent light with the switch and a nice stainless steel cover. Now, this is an LED area light, which would provide a nice bright light for your boat. It's great for upgrading or replacing lighting on your bimini top or other interior lighting. Right here, it has the push button switch that allows for easy on and off.

And it is a sealed waterproof housing and impact resistant lens. It is a clear lens over three wide LEDs. And the LEDs are premium LEDs, which are energy efficient, long-lasting and vibration resistant. They are rated for up to 100,000 hours of operation. It is a military-grade construction of the circuit board in this light.

And it uses urethane potting, which offers better protection than common epoxy potting. It is a surface mount installation. Comes with the nice included housing. Now, the hardware to install this is not included, requires two screws. It is a durable stainless steel housing.

And it, when it's installed, it'll hide the mounting hardware behind the cover, so it allows for a nice clean appearance when mounted. This is compatible with 12 volt DC systems, and I am gonna hook this up to some 12 volt power to show you how bright the light is and how the switch works. Now, they do also offer, as an option, a round bar adapter, which we sell separately on our website. It's listed on this product page as a related product, and it would bolt to the back here and allow you to mount this light on a one inch diameter bar. This does hardwire to your application.

The wire length is about six inches. Has two wires, black and a white wire. A power and a ground wire. Few specs on this, the overall length, one end to the other, the housing is four inches long. The height of it is about one inch wide. And the depth of it is right at about 5/8 of an inch. Now, the distance between the mounting holes on the back, center to center is right at 3 3/4 inches. Light output on this is 220 lumens. And the power draw is only .13 to .18 amps. So, what we're gonna do now is I got the 12 volt power here, so we are gonna hook it up. And once I get it all hooked up, there we go. We'll go ahead and turn on the power. And then with the power on, we'll be able to see if I push that button, and the light, the three LEDs come on. Go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. And you can see how bright it is for three LEDs, very bright. And again, your button right here. Push it to turn it off, and then push it again to turn it on. It's a very easy push button on and off switch. And I also wanted to just zoom out with the light on just to show you how bright of a light it is. You can see that it does light up a very bright area. And we go back to zooming in. And we'll go ahead and push the light to turn it off. Turn back on our overhead lights.
