Thule TracRac TracONE Ladder Rack for Toyota Tacoma - Fixed Mount - 800 lbs - Matte Black
I chose the racks because they appeared more secure than my previous setup, and they certainly are. I took my time methodically assembling things and all went well. A precious review mentioned there is little to no clearance between the button head cap screw (securing the clamp and bracket to truck rail) and the side of the truck bed; I found by rocking the tall leg I could finger tighten 'till the foot made contact, then just needed a few turns from a L shaped Allen wrench.
Great rack, very sturdy and easy to assemble. Took about 2 hours to get it all adjusted and tightened down. Easily can fit 16’ material even though only 5’ long.

Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Aluminum - 500 lbs - 68" Crossbars
The rack is great. Simple to install, extremely sturdy & very well designed. I drove it to Cars & Coffee yesterday & someone asked me what I needed to haul or if I merely installed them "because they look cool." The young lady, Janeth, that helped me was really great! Smart, polite, patient, & above all... knowledgeable about product. I would suggest selling the rack specific for Retrax bed cover. The amount of hardware left over when you add the adapter kit to the standard rack seems really excessive. Rather than be $169 add, it should be a deduct of at least that much.
I had a Thule rack for almost 10 years, but new truck came with a tonneau and the Thule I had was not compatible. This is very solid with the tonneau adapters. Its not as easy to adjust as the Thule but only adjusting a couple times a year, it's ok.

T-Rac Pro2 Ladder Rack for Toyota Tacoma - Fixed Mount - 1,000 lbs
Not as good as my original TracRac set, that wouldn't fit my new truck, but still very good. Two, maybe three points for you. The way I tie my loads to the racks, I use heavy cord, the ties that now come with them are not as easy to use as the older nautical cleats. (They would make a nice option) This is a Toyota problem more than yours but the rear rack cannot be put to the back of the bed rail because of your rail fasteners and the shape of the bed. My truck is a short bed so fastening the rear rack as far back as possible was important. It would almost help if one rack has a longer "foot" that could be fastened more securely. I understand making both front and back the same, makes for easier manufacture but I see it as a design flaw. With the photos beside the type of pickup, the rear rack connection shows how Toyota curved the bed rail in a little at the back (no idea why they did that) but you can see it in how the shadow is gone toward the very back of the foot. To set it on the rail the way you expect would mean moving it forward by almost 8 inches. On a short bed truck that puts the racks too close together. Also my old set had gussets supporting the upright and the foot. Maybe yours are engineered to be sufficiently strong but I do feel like I could pull the rack out of the foot when tying front and back together. Don't know for sure, just a feeling. And maybe another issue, while I'm on a roll, the connectors have only the Allen fastener which would be ok if it had a bolt type head not a smooth head to make the final tightening to be done with a wrench not just the Allen wrench. Great product, works well. Thank you
The truck racks work great, I was thinking my 17 foot canoe was too long to haul on the Tacoma until I installed these. - thanks

Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Load Stops - Aluminum - 800 lbs
They look decent enough and do exactly what I need. Super easy install. I think I'll be able to remove the rear one(4 nuts with a zip gun) slide my KLR 650 in the bed put the rear one back on load the canoe and scoot down the highway in my 2011 Ranger. Super happy with these at this price point.
The rack was a good price. It was delivered 4 or 5 days after it was ordered. All the parts were there and no damage. It was VERY easy to assemble and put on my truck. It seems to be very solid and pretty well made. Seems to be a great value. I purchased to transport kayaks and lumber that does not fit into the short bed.Time will tell , but so far so good.

Erickson Over-The-Cab Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Steel - 1,000 lbs
It's a nice rack, sturdy and well thought out. However, the statement that it will fit a 2024 Toyota Tacoma is misleading. I did get it to fit, but it took a weekend of altering and fabricating parts. This is more a problem of the design of the truck than of the rack. The J-bolts are useless for this application. I had to unbolt the silly little plastic strip under the plastic rail on the truck and replace that with angle iron, then cut the rack's feet and re-weld some of the the round thingees where the J bolts would have gone through if the truck was built differently. Another option would be to drill and tap the metal rails under the plastic rails, but who wants to drill into a brand new truck? The etrailer people were super helpful but the Erickson people were not helpful at all.
Should work fine as intended. It is a bear to assemble. Tons of bolts I am worried will loosen over time. Just installed it today. Let’s see how it goes.

Yakima OverHaul HD Truck Bed Ladder Rack for Toyota/Nissan Utility Tracks - 500 lbs - 68" Bars
I saw this Ladder Rack on the back of a friend's truck and knew it was the perfect fit for me. I needed a truckbed camper cover but did not want to lose the openness of the bed for taller objects. This rack system allows me to use my cargo box to store things out of the elements and to have my bed free for taller objects.
The rack arrived fast in three separate boxes (base,Tacoma kit, and crossbars). The box with the cross bars was a little dinged up, but everything inside was fine. Items were packaged very nice and organized. Seeing it up wasn't too bad. I took care of the Tacoma adapter one evening and the rest the following evening. The only tricky part was getting the cross bars aligned and attached. That part would definitely be easier with an extra set of hands or clamps. And then getting the screws in closest to the post was a bit of a bear. I'm sure there are more mechanically inclined people who would have gotten it 1,2,3. Putting the Tacoma kit on was SUPER EASY courtey of watching the instructional video a couple of times! Such a fine feature on this site! Thank you for that! I also needed to go over which base went where. There was a small illustration that showed which one sent where. Only to a minute to figure out out, but maybe labeling each one and having a diagram in the instructions would facilitate that part. Overall, not a tricky installation by any means. And they look GREAT!!! Love the powder coat paint and the style! I'm really happy with them!

T-Rac Pro2 Ladder Rack for 2005 to 2015 Toyota Tacoma - Fixed Mount - 1,000 lbs
First let me say I’m perfectly satisfied with these racks. They have only been installed a few days so I have not had a chance to load them up yet, but I’m confident they will work as advertised as they seem very sturdy and well built. That said, here is a listing of a few issues I have which prevent me from giving this system a 5 Rating. - Installation was fairly straight forward however parts did not completely match the instructions (attached). The Modular Clamp, item Q, differed from what is depicted in the instruction (see photos of actual part). The Clamps provided have T shaped feature which slides in the track of the Toyota track bed. This is actually a good making the installation more secure without the need for additional parts. - The threaded hole in Modular Clamp for Bolt O, however, was partially filled with the coating material which made it difficult to install the bolts. I mounted the clamps in a vice to get the necessary leverage to initially screw in the bolts. This made final installation easier and by using Loc-Tite (as recommended) , I’m not concerned with the bolts backing off. - My installation did not involve working around a tool box, however, that portion of the instructions was not very clear in my opinion. Also, Part V, Clamp Foot, was NOT included in my parts package. And since my Modular Clamps (Q) differ from what is shown in the instructions, not sure how they would work for the tool box configuration. - Both the instructions and the Video Review depict the Crossbars (F) with notches in the upper and lower tracks to facilitate installation of the corner braces and Crossbar Tie Downs/Load Stops. Neither of my Crossbars have the notches machined in. In the case of the corner braces, this means they need to be installed on the cross bar before installing the uprights
Life is busy and I finally got my racks installed. They are perfect for what I need. I own a small construction company and I drive a 2012 Tacoma with a 6' bed (side rails, etc). I was concerned that the side rails would not work with the rack or there would be a shipping or part issue - I was wrong! The design is fantastic, light, and able to carry1k pounds. The Tacoma bed design means that my racks are only about 5'4" apart. I was hoping for a greater distance apart, but this will work fine. I will need to order the roof cantilever portion if I'm hoping to carry small trim pieces without additional support for the material. Thank you to Andrew (Andy) for the support and helping me to know that I was getting the correct rack for my truck.

Thule TracRac TracONE Ladder Rack for Toyota Tacoma - Fixed Mount - 800 lbs - Black
I love this truck rack! I want to give it 4.5 stars but that’s not an option. The reason I’m leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is so that people will read this review for the one critical element that gives it a mark down. The brackets are made specifically for a Toyota Tacoma with the bed rails. The issue is that the bolts used to tighten the rack to the truck are so tightly wedged against the inside bed of the truck that it’s almost impossible to get to them. It’s incredibly easy to strip the head of the bolt because of the angle required to insert a tool to tighten them onto the truck bed. For context I do not keep this attached to my truck at all times it is only used when I need to utilize the truck rack. We purchased some ratchet style tools that allow us to put it on faster but that does not prevent the stripping of the head of the bolt used to tighten the brackets. My recommendation to Thule And or etrailer is to include the necessary tools to attach this to the truck because there is no standard tool that works well. The ratchets that we purchased were maybe $10 each however the hex bit required is still too long even at an inch. If we could find them in half an inch that would be optimal, but my search has so far proven unsuccessful. With that said it holds the weight limit as indicated and felt super sturdy on a 14 Hour drive loaded with roughly 450 lbs.
Just received the shipment and planning on putting it together today. All instructions are clear. Product nicely packaged for shipping. Product looks well manufactured. I am very satisfied.

Thule TracRac TracONE Ladder Rack for Toyota Tacoma - Fixed Mount - 800 lbs - Silver
I received my Thule TracRac TracONE ladder rack promptly. It is very nice and installed quite easily into the bed track of my 2020 Tacoma. Hats off to etrailer - they're great. However I would make the following product recommendations to Thule for this rack: 1. There realy need to be tie cleats on the vertical supports on this rack. Cleats would make it so much easier to secure heavy loads. 2. They should offer a accessory piece which provides a flush surface to the tops of the C-clamps that mount into the bed rack. This would make it much easier to mount a tool box over the TracRack mounts and snug the tool box up as far to the front of the bed as possible - leaving more cargo room in the bed. As it is, I either have to fabricate something to do this, or mount the tool box behind the TracRac mounts - needlessly consuming valuable bed space. Thanks etrailer!
Item arrived with scratches which was an issue mentioned in other reviews for this rack. So, I was not surprised to find a few when I started assembly which was pretty straight forward and took about an hour. This unit attaches to the bed of my 2017 Tacoma perfectly with the included extra set of rail clamps. Excellent quality, sturdy and looks good, just what I was looking for. I would recommend this product to others just be prepared for some minor scuffs and scratches, otherwise I’d have given it 5 stars.

Yakima OverHaul HD Adjustable Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Aluminum - 500 lbs - 60" Crossbars
Works seamlessly with the retrax rollup cover and not too hard to install. Adjusting the height takes a little bit of work but that is only done on a very limited basis. Allows me to carry my kayaks, a cargo box if I need extra space or paddles & fishing rods so they don't get damaged by closing the tailgate on them.
I split two rack systems to allow us to carry larger ladders. Outstanding service and info from trainer to help make this happen! CSR reps were great to work with.

Thule T-Rac Pro2 Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Cantilever - 1,000 lbs
This bed extender works as advertised. I would highly recommend it to anyone that has an extended cab pickup with a short bed. This is great for hauling longer items around.
Best Company to work with, when you need to get things done quick for your service company. These Trac Rac systems work great with my Toyota trucks and have stood the test of time with my fleet. Easy to install, use and durable.

Thule TracRac TracONE Ladder Rack for Toyota Tacoma - Toolbox Mounts - Fixed Mount - 800 lbs - Black
These racks are built strong and light weight. Designed really well. But the Tacoma mounting brackets were not thought out well. The walls of the bed are at an angle and the threaded holes in the bracket should reflect this. It would give room for tightening fasteners. I shortened the rear bolts to make it easier to remove the rear rack. Threads were a lot tighter than any need to be. The package was opened on one end when received.
It goes together easily with some patience. It’s solid and sturdy once installed. The bits that make it Tacoma-specific come in a separate box and take the place of other parts in the universal kit so there will be extras. Quality is what I expected. Fitment is glove-ish. My only complaint is the clamps are a silver color (some clear coat not bare aluminum) and everything else is black. Not a big deal. Now I can haul a canoe properly and not looking like a dweeb. Fast delivery.

Thule TracRac TracONE Ladder Rack for Toyota Tacoma - Fixed Mount - 800 lbs - Silver
Excellent customer service and excellent product. I have a 2009 Toyota Tacoma with factory installed composite bed and deck rail system. The ladder rack came with a kit for the deck rail system. We put t together and installed it in less than 2 hours. It looks great and is very functional for carrying all my ladders (24 ft extension ladder, and a 6 and 8 ft ladder) I would highly recommend e-trailer.
The Thule TracRac is well designed and assembly was straight forward. My only complaint is it sits about 6" above the cab on my 2005 Tacoma. I am going to take it off and cut 4" off the uprights. This will necessitate retapping the aluminum extrusions, no big deal.

Erickson Truck Bed Ladder Rack w/ Load Stops - Steel - 800 lbs
Install wasn’t horrible but I can’t imagine removing it often. The stops naturally don’t slide on the rail but can be relocated without tools which is nice. Seems sturdy. The cons, it’s steel and has started rusting after two weeks in places the paint wore off during install. I will have to clean it up and repaint it to keep it from looking horrible. In addition, the J bolts sit pretty far off the side of my 2007 F150 so the bracket is hanging off the rim inside about an invh. Once all together it doesn’t seem to matter but would be more comfortable if it sat tight. Overall, it gets the job done but if looking for pretty, get something that doesn’t rust.
The product itself is of good quality. It is a heavy duty truck rack. They say it is adjustable but that is only if you have the wrenches with you. It took several hours to assemble it alone. The bolts need to be a little longer especially on the mounting sleeves and the top of the cross bars. The sliding mounts were quite difficult putting on as the sleeves were very tight, I recommend WD - 40. When it was to the point of installing the cross bars it was necessary to loosen the mounting sleeves and move them. I called customer service and sent several e-mails and received no responses . I plan on using it to carry my kayaks while pulling a travel trailer.

Thule TracRac TracONE Ladder Rack for Toyota Tacoma - Toolbox Mount - Fixed Mount - 800 lbs - Silver
The rack is great!! Looks awesome and very functional. Great for carrying 2 x lumber, wish it had rings on the posts for easier securing. I would give it 5 stars or at least 4.5, if not for the slight mounting issue. The bases that sit on top of the bed are not at the proper angle causing the arms, the sections between the base and the top cross pieces, to be leaning in slightly. The cross pieces then do not fit exactly, they can be fastened on but once tightened down, the cross pieces have a bow. I lessened the bow by adding shims to the underside of the cross pieces but I had to get longer fastening bolts. Overall great product.
Easy to install. It is very sturdy.

Thule TracRac TracONE Truck Bed Ladder Rack - Fixed Mount - 800 lbs - Silver
Best rack on the market, and I’ve owned many! This is my second set of TracRac ladder rack systems. The first in 2006, and it was still going strong until I sold the truck with the rack on it, and now this one I purchased in 2022. Unfortunately, this will be my last one as it will take me into retirement, but it will live on with the new owner that buys this truck! Thank you for manufacturing such a good quality product. A+++++
No fault of eTrailer - the service was exceptional. It's a great ladder rack - my only issue is that the threads needed to be chased out with a tap to avoid cross threading, which i guess is some feedback for the manufacturer. Looks great on a 2024 Sierra.
