I'm Matt with etrailer and today we're talking about the Yakima roof rack on top of our 2022 Honda CR-V. And it's gonna be a great option if you're going on a trip and you need to store some extra luggage because maybe you have some friends and family with you and you can't put it on inside your vehicle, especially if you already have a hitch that's being used by either a trailer or something else or you don't have a hitch at all. And it's really gonna be good if you have any longer items that you can't fit into the back of your vehicle anyways. It's important you know what kind of roof you have, so way you can check is right now we do have a naked roof and that means we're not gonna have any type of rail on top. You can also get this vehicle with flush rails and that's gonna be something you'll be able to notice because you can get your hands around that and to make sure you're getting the right kit for you you can plug in your vehicle's information into our website before I find the correct fit for you. Hey everyone, it's Evangeline and today we're taking a look at our Rhino Rack RVP roof rack system here on our 2022 Honda CR-V. So you've got your CR-V, you've got that versatility but what if you also wanna carry around some accessories like kayaks or a roof box or a roof basket. What you then need is a roof rack system. So this is what our system is gonna look like installed. Now, for starters, we have two different color options for the crossbars here. Today we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero crossbar system here on our 2020 Honda CRV.So here's what our roof rack system is going to look like installed. As you can see here, Rhino-Rack uses these nice aero-shaped crossbars, which are going to do a couple different things for us. Number one, the aero shape is really going to help cut down on wind noise. We're not going to have that whistling sound here with our crossbars. And, number two, we're not going to have near as much drag.

Today on our 2019 Honda CR-V, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Wingbar Evo clamp-on roof rack system. This Thule roof rack system is going to allow you to carry roof-mounted accessories on your Honda CR-V, things like bike racks, kayak carriers, roof boxes, and more.The crossbars are 53 inches long and you can see how they span across the roof of our CR-V. We're going to be able to carry multiple accessories with this roof rack system. We've got the black installed, but they're also available in silver if that's something you're interested in. You can check it out on our website.They have an aerodynamic shape. These are going to be a lot quieter than your round or square bars.

So today on our 2018 Honda CRV, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule WingBar Evo roof rack system for naked roofs. Now with this system, it's going to allow you to carry roof-mounted accessories, things like bike racks, kayak carriers, cargo boxes, and more. Now the wing bars are 53" long. They're made out of aluminum, so you don't need to worry about any rust or corrosion. But you can see how they stretch out across the entire roof of our CRV. That way, we can carry more than just one accessory.



Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2018 Honda CR-V

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Honda CRV we're going to be test fitting the rhino rack vortex aero roof rack system. This is going to consist of part number RRVA137B-2. These are the vortex aero crossbars that you see here. These also come in silver as part number RRVA137S-2. We'll also be installing part number RRRLKVA. These are the 2500 series legs for the vortex aero crossbars, excuse me, for naked roofs.



Thule Roof Rack Review - 2018 Honda CR-V

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Honda CRV, we'll be doing a test fit on the Thule Traverse roof rack system using part number THLB58, for the 58 inch square bars. These are also available as 50 inch cross bars with part number THLB50. We'll also be using the Traverse Foot Pack, part number TH480, and a Fit Kit for 2018 CRV, part number THKIT1855.The square bar roof rack system is an entry level option for your CRV. It's going to allow you to carry bike racks, cargo baskets, cargo boxes, and much more. It's not as aerodynamic or as quiet as Thule's Aero crossbars. You can pick up a fairing for this roof rack system with part number TH8701.



Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2017 Honda CR-V

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Honda CR-V, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima JetStream roof rack system. This is going to be consisting of part numbers Y00425, these are the JetStream crossbars. Part number Y00148, these are the SkyLine Towers, and they kind of snap into place with our landing pads. And the landing pads are going to be part number Y00245. This is specifically for the Honda CR-V.It attaches to two pre-attachment points on the actual flush mounted side rails of your CR-V, and these bars are designed to work with a wide variety of accessories. This helps you put anything you don't want inside the vehicle, outside, or just to free up a little bit more space if you need to.

Today, in our 2016 Honda CRV, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Rhino-Rack RVP Fixed Mounted Roof Rack System. I've already got it installed just to give you a good idea what it looks like, but this system is designed to mount directly to your flush mounted rails on your CRV. You're gonna be able to carry roof mount accessories, things like bike racks, kayak carriers, cargo boxes, and much more. Now, as I said, it's a fixed mounted system, which means it's not gonna be adjustable along the rails like other roof rack systems. The crossbar spread center on center is around 31 and three quarters, so you want to be sure you choose accessories that are going to work with that spread. Now, the crossbars offer about 38 inches of usable space.

Today, in our 2016 Honda CR-V. We're going to be doing a test fit on the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars Roof Rack system. This system is specifically designed to fit your flush-mounted rails on your CR-V.With it in place, you're gonna be able to carry roof mount accessories, things like bike racks, kayak carriers, cargo boxes, and much more.Now, the aerobars are 49 inches long. You can see how they span across the roof of our CR-V. This is gonna allow us to carry multiple accessories on our roof. So maybe we'd like to carry two to three bike racks up there, or maybe even two kayaks.Now, the crossbars are made out of aluminum, so we don't have to worry about any rust or corrosion.



Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2016 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2016 Honda CRV, we're going to be testing the Yakima round bar roof rack system, consisting of part numbers Y00409, these are the round 58 inch cross bars, part number Y00146, these are the baseline tower for the Yakima cross bars, and part number Y03536, which is the round bar SL adapter kit for the Yakima baseline towers, and part numbers Y06148 and Y06152, which are the base clip fit kits for the Honda CRV. The Yakima round bar roof rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle for you and your family. The two bars have a combined carrying capacity of 165 pounds although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. Both of the end caps do come with knock outs which you can replace with the Yakima same key system so you can actually utilize this with your Yakima accessories and make everything key alike. Now that we've gone over some of the features of the roof rack system, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. We have our rear bar partially assembled on our table here, and our next step is to install our base tower to the other end of our bar. So we'll take our baseline tower, take this plastic adapter piece, and that gets pushed on the top here till you hear a couple clicks. Then we'll take our round bar adapter, place that, line up with the screw, then we'll come around to the front of the baseline tower, pull this portion out so we can see the screw that we need to tighten down with our included tool.

Today on our 2016 Honda CRV we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Core Bar Roof Rack System consisting of part numbers Y00422, these are the Yakima Core Bar Crossbars, 60" long. Part number Y00146, these are the Baseline Towers for the crossbars. Part number Y06148, and part number Y06152. These are the Base Clip Fit Kits for the Honda CRV. The Yakima Core Bar Roof Rack System is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle for you and your family. It has a carrying capacity of 220 pounds with the two bars, however you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. It's fairly easy to install, simply clamps onto your roof, the instructions have all the measurements that you'll need.

The two bars have a combined carrying capacity of 165 pounds, although you always to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. It has a rubber strip on the top of it, which means you can use T-Track accessories with it, and that coupled with the shape of the bar, will reduce wind noise and drag while you're driving.



Rhino-Rack RSP Roof Rack Installation - 2016 Honda CR-V

Today in our 2016 Honda CR-V we're gonna be test fitting the Rhino Rack RSP Roof Rack System for Flush Factory Side Rails, part number RSP33. The Rhino Rack RSP Roof Rack is great for carrying accessories on your roof and freeing up space in your vehicle for you and your family. It can carry a wide variety of objects, from bike racks to roof baskets to roof boxes to ski and snowboard carriers, as well as water sport carriers such as kayaks and canoes. The bars themselves have a nice sleek look to them, and since they install directly into your flush rails, they actually look like they're factory installed. Rubber vortex strips combine with the aerodynamic shape of the bars will cut down on wind noise and drag while you're driving. Since it has these strips in the center here, you can actually remove these and use T-Track accessories with this roof rack. The carrying capacity of these two bars is gonna be 165 lbs, although you always want to double check with your vehicles manual to make sure it can withstand that weight. Now that we've gone over some of the features of the roof rack system, let's go ahead and show you how it installs. Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2016 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2016 Honda CRV we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Vortex Arrow crossbars. The crossbar part number that we're using today is RRVA137B-2. For our foot pack here we're using RRLKVA, and for our fit kit for our CRV we are using part number DK284. Now, here we have our back crossbar. We already have our front crossbar on and secure. We're going to start with this one here, and we're going to show you how to put our last foot pack together with out fit kit, and then show you how it goes on our vehicle. We're going to start off by taking this bottom portion of our foot pack, and it just pops off just like that.



Rhino-Rack RS 2500 Vortex Aero Roof Rack Installation - 2015 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2015 Honda CRV, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino-Rack RS 2500 series roof rack system part number RRRS409B. They're also available in silver, part number RRRS409. The Rhino-Rack RS roof system is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle they can carry bike racks, cargo baskets, and closed cargo boxes, ski and snowboard carriers as well as kayak carriers. The two bars have a combined carrying capacity of 155 pounds although you should always double check with your vehicles manual to make sure your roof can withstand that weight. It does have the Vortex aero strips on the top and that coupled with the shape of the bar itself does cut down wind noise and drag while your driving. It also makes it capable of being used with T track accessories. Now since these are flush as you can see here, you're not going to be able to extend out further.



Rhino-Rack Euro Square Roof Rack Installation - 2015 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2015 Honda CRV, we're going to be test-fitting our Rhino-Rack 2500 Series square-bar roof rack system, part number DS1375B. These are the square crossbars, 54" long and part number DK284 and this is the custom fit kit for the CRV. The Rhino-Rack square-bar roof rack system is great for carrying a wide variety of accessories on your roof while freeing up space inside your vehicle. You can carry bike racks, cargo baskets and closed cargo boxes, ski and snowboard carriers as well as kayak carriers. The two bars have a combined carrying capacity of 165 lbs, although you always want to double-check with your vehicles manual to make sure it can withstand those weights. While these are square bars there are fairings offered on etrailer.com, which you can purchase separately and that will cut down the wind-noise sound and the drag while you're driving. All the legs on our roof rack system do lock, so once you install this onto your roof, it's secure to your roof as well. Now that we've gone over some of the features of this roof rack system, let's go ahead and show you how it installs.

Today on our 2015 Honda CRV, we're taking a look at the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars. The part number for the crossbars you're using today is RRVA137B-2. Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack Installation - 2015 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2015 Honda CR-V we're going to take a look at the Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Racking System with the fixed points. The part numbers for the AeroBlades are TH7602-2H7603, and our Fit Kit is 2HKIT3118. I have the first one already on, on our front one. I'm going to show you how we install this second one. I'm going to show you all the hardware that comes with it. With our Fit Kit we have our rubber padding with our metal plate.



Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack Installation - 2014 Honda CR-V

Hi everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack system, for your naked roof, on your 2014 Honda CRV. If you're looking for a fairly cost-effective roof rack, that has all the features that I really look for, in a roof rack system, I definitely think that the Vortex Aero Rhino-Rack Roof Rack system, is gonna be good for you. We're going to be able to put about 165 pounds worth of stuff on top, we have T-Tracks, it's made of aluminum, it's not gonna rust away, and it's just gonna allow your CRV, and the people you're driving around, to do more. Some things that you don't see with some roof racks is locks, these come with it. Even some of the higher end racks, you really have to purchase the lock separately, which is kind of silly in my opinion, but this one comes all with it, you don't have to buy anything separate.



Inno Roof Rack Review - 2014 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2014 Honda CRV we are going to be test fitting the inno roof rack system. This is going to be consisting of part numbers INXB108-2. Those are going to be the crossbars. Part number INXS200, those are going to be the flush feet. Part number INK413 and that's going to be the clamp that holds it onto your vehicle. We already have the front one installed. You can see it has a nice shape to it.

Today on our 2014 Honda CR-V we're going to be test fitting the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System, consisting of part numbers RRVA137B-2, those are going to be the cross bars, part number RRRLKVA, and those are going to be the legs, and then part number DK284, and those are going to be the clamps holding it to your vehicle. We have the front one already installed. As you can see it has a nice aerodynamic shape. Let's go ahead and show you how the rear one goes on. We have it partially assembled on our table here already, with the parts laid out. Let's get right into it. We'll first take our leg, flip this around here so you can see a little bit better.
